Taibao Park

Taibao park is named because it is located in Taibao mountain. Taibao mountain has beautiful scenery. From the 700 steps in the park, you can get to the top of the mountain. Taibaoshan park is located at the foot of Taibaoshan mountain in the west of Baoshan City, Yunnan Province. The total area of the park is 102 hectares, with 90% forest coverage, mainly pine, cypress and birch. After entering the gate of Taibao Park, you can pick up more than 700 steps to the top of the mountain. There is a Pingchang on the top of Taibao mountain, covering an area of more than 50 mu. There are pavilions and pavilions around, such as Wangcheng tower, stage and Songyuan Pavilion, from which you can have a bird's-eye view of baoshankan. At the top of the mountain is the second largest temple of marquis Wu built in the Yuan Dynasty in Southwest China. At the back of the mountain is a collection of various stone tablets, stone carvings and stone carvings from ancient times.

History of scenic spots

The ancient buildings built on the hillside of Taibao mountain are Yuhuang Pavilion and Yufo temple. Yuhuangge is a three story Dougong building in the Ming Dynasty. It is resplendent, exquisite and magnificent. The plaque on the second floor is different from the front, left and right. On the right, there are four characters, namely, Beige "sincere without taboo"; on the left, green "dragon flying and Phoenix dancing"; on the right, there are four characters, namely, maroon "Hai Yan He Qing".

There are two octagonal bell pavilions on the left and right outside the main hall of Yuhuangge, also known as "Quanzhen building". Xu Xiake, a traveler of Ming Dynasty, once lived here when he came to Baoshan. Now Baoshan museum is also located here. Yuhuangge is a key cultural relic protection unit at the provincial level. In the Jade Buddha Temple in the north, there are many pure white jade Buddha statues donated by master miaoming, a Chinese resident in Myanmar. In addition, there are Huizhen building, Yifa pool and Ciyun tower in Baoshan park.
