Black stone nose

Wushibi is located in Xikou of shiningpu and southeast of wushibi settlement, which refers to the black rock mass protruding in the sea. As the largest columnar igneous rock mass in Taiwan, it is the product of volcanic lava eruption. Only two scenic spots in Taiwan have this feature. The other is located in Shimen to the north of shitiping, but the scale is much smaller. This group of hexagonal and pentagonal columnar lava has various arrangement patterns, such as straight, oblique and horizontal, indicating the location of the volcanic vent, waiting for you to discover.

Basic introduction

Wushibi is full of tidal pools and sea erosion gullies, which is the best place to watch the marine life in the intertidal zone. It is also a paradise for diving and rock fishing in the East. Especially in February every year, when the best season for Baimao fishing comes, you can see that the rock bank is full of fishermen and people.

Every July, before the Ami's harvest festival, the aborigines meet on the long and narrow coast of wushibi to pick up sea snails, melon seeds, sea urchins, or clams and mosses attached to the reefs and rocks, making the originally peaceful coast lively.
