Shaoxing Road is a street in the west of Huangpu District, Shanghai, China. It runs from Ruijin 2nd Road in the east to Shaanxi South Road in the West. It's 480 meters long. It is 12.3m to 18.5M wide.
Shaoxing Road, formerly known as route Victor Emmanuel III, was built by the Council of the French concession in Shanghai in 1926 and named after the king of Italy. When Wang Jingwei took over the concession in 1943, it was renamed Shaoxing Road.
Shaoxing Road is traditionally a residential area. Famous houses include No.9 (now Shanghai Kunju Opera Troupe), No.18 Jingu village and No.74 ZhangQun house (now Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House).
