Zhongxing new village is located in Nantou City, Nantou County, Taiwan.

Zhongxing new village is a town located in Nantou City, Nantou County, Taiwan. It is also the second new town after the war in Taiwan (second to Guangfu New Village). It is the seat of the "Taiwan provincial government" of the Taiwan authorities. It is located in the "yingpankou" area at the foot of Hushan mountain in Nantou city. It began to be built in 1955. In 1956, the Taiwan provincial government moved from Taipei city to work here. In 1957, the overall urban design was completed by imitating the "new town" creation model of London, England. At the earliest, it occupied about 200 hectares. It has become a rural administrative community integrating office and residence, setting a precedent for rain and sewage in the community The drainage system makes the community have the best living and environmental protection standards, and the design of the tunnel excavation road in the community is easy to form a strong friendship of good neighborliness and mutual help, highlighting a strong sense of community. It has become a base for sightseeing, leisure and children's recreation in China and Taiwan.

After the implementation of Taiwan Provincial Government's functional business and organizational adjustment (provincial virtual level), the original function of Zhongxing new village serving provincial government organs is no longer, and it is facing the transformation of development orientation. Taiwan authorities are committed to the reconstruction and revitalization of Zhongxing new village, initially planned by the Public Works Committee of the Executive Yuan. In 2009, it will be planned by the National Science Council to set up the Central Science Park and higher research park.

history

Zhongxing new village is mainly located in the east of Zhongzheng Road, including Guangrong, Guanghua and Guangming. This is the scope of the initial planning of Zhongxing new village. It is planned with low-density single family housing, and allocated according to the family status of provincial government employees. However, there was an outbreak of construction fraud, and the overall building was one meter lower than the original planning, The buildings in the village are very small. With the increasing staffing of the provincial government in the future, the original official residence was no longer enough to live in. Therefore, a new official residence was built next to Changchun park to the provincial training regiment. In front of it, there was a big lawn and neiluxi Park (including outdoor basketball court). Because it was planned to be 500 households, it was called "500 households".

In 1956, the Taiwan provincial government moved the office staff to yingpankou, Nantou County, and established "Zhongxing new village".

In 1964, another urban plan for nanneilun area of Zhongxing new village was issued.

In 1984, during the presidency of Li Denghui Province, the two urban plans were merged into a "Zhongxing new village (including nanneilu) urban plan".

In 1989, when Qiu Chuanghuan was the provincial president, he made a comprehensive review of the public facilities reserve and approved it.

In 1992, under the chairmanship of Lien Chan Province, the Department of public administration compiled the budget, commissioned the Bureau of housing and capital of Taiwan provincial government to handle the "overall planning of Zhongxing new village", and set up the overall development Steering Committee and the overall development planning group of Zhongxing new village to promote it.

In 1995, it was issued and implemented by James Soong as governor.

In 1998, the transformation of government organization made Taiwan provincial government agencies virtual, and the structure of Zhongxing new village began to change.

In 1999, 921 earthquake destroyed many houses in Zhongxing new village (including Taiqi Zhongxing station, five departments of provincial government, Zhongxing high school science museum in Zhongxing bajingyi, etc.); the temporary office building of Nantou County government was set up in Hushan farm of Zhongxing new village.

In 2000, the Executive Yuan's Committee for promoting post earthquake reconstruction was established in Zhongxing new village.

In 2004, the Public Works Committee of the Executive Yuan formulated the "Zhongxing new village construction art village plan", which began to release some houses for artists to come and create since May 1, 2006.

In 2007, the Executive Yuan convened the "Executive Yuan's Zhongxing new village redevelopment plan promotion group" to plan Zhongxing new village as a "cultural and artistic creative industry park" in the north, a "high-quality holiday oriented life park" in the central, and a "training, study and conference Park" in the South, with NGO groups stationed in it. The next year, it was re planned due to the rotation of political parties of the central government.

In 2008, the economic construction committee of the Executive Yuan formulated the "preliminary plan for the development of Zhongxing new village into a higher research park".

In 2009, the plan was implemented by the National Science Committee of the Executive Yuan. According to the plan, the first phase will be from 2009 to the end of 2012, with the establishment of a "China Taiwan industrial innovation and R & D zone" by the Central Institute of industry and research; the second phase will be after 2013, with the establishment of an "emerging smart technology research center" by the Council for resources and policy; and the second phase will be settled by the Agricultural Technology Research Institute, non-governmental enterprises and corporate bodies.

On April 12, 2011, the Culture Bureau of Nantou County Government introduced the former Department of construction of Taiwan provincial government, Department of agriculture and forestry of Taiwan provincial government, transportation department of Taiwan provincial government, personnel department of Taiwan provincial government, Taiwan Provincial Government Information Center, bureau of soil and water conservation of agriculture and Forestry Department of Taiwan provincial government, zhongzhengtang, Zhongxing hall, Zhongxing new village branch of Bank of Taiwan, Zhongxing new Village Office of Taiwan Xinsheng daily, Zhongxing new Village Office of Taiwan provincial government According to the Cultural Assets Preservation Law, the provincial government buildings such as Zhongxing service center of China Telecom are registered as historical buildings, and the areas of the first administrative region (north core area), the first neighborhood unit, the second neighborhood unit, the third neighborhood unit, the town center and the second Administrative Region (South core area) of Zhongxing new village are registered as cultural landscape preservation areas. On May 13, Taiwan provincial government building was registered as a historic site of the county.

On February 14, 2014, Nantou County Government held a lantern festival in Zhongxing new village. On September 15, the China Taiwan Innovation Park of the Ministry of economic affairs was opened. In the future, it will be operated by the Institute of industry and research and the Council for investment and policy.

During the period of Japanese occupation, there was a sugar railway passing nearby, which was called Zhongzhuo railway after the war. After the establishment of Zhongxing new village, the reception station in front of the provincial government was set up on July 4, 1957. However, two years later, due to the August 7th flood, the operation ended with the abolition of the whole railway line. Later, in order to facilitate business travel, the Highway Bureau (later for Taiqi passenger transport) sold the combined transport tickets from Zhongxing new village to Taiwan's major cities: Taiqi to Taichung Station and then transferred to Taichung railway longitudinal line. After the earthquake destroyed Taiqi Zhongxing station, the business was suspended.
