Fengyou mountain

Fengyou mountain, also known as Dayou mountain, is located in the northeast of Jiangxi Province. It is the boundary mountain between Fuliang County of Jingdezhen city and Wuyuan County of Shangrao City. The mountain has a northeast southwest trend. The north slope of the mountain is gentle, and the south slope is steep. There is a famous ancient village Luoyou mountain village on one side of Wuyuan. Fengyou mountain, 675 meters above sea level, is located in the surrounding hills. It is a famous religious mountain. It is said that in ancient times, Caifeng traveled eastward to this place, hence its name. There is Jingyin temple on the mountain, which was originally quite large and full of incense. The existing temple is its relic, and only a few Dharma protectors stay in it.

It is located at the junction of the west corner of zhentou town and Jingdezhen city. According to legend, there was a colorful phoenix flying here, so it was named.

The main landscapes are Longyin stream, Jianquan, Xianren bridge, Yuanyang pool, Sheshen cliff, Wanghu peak, etc. The most impressive is the stone forest hidden in the dense forest, some as high as a few feet, some as deep as a hundred feet, the landscape is very strange. At the top of Fengyou mountain, there is Jingyin temple, which is full of incense.

Tourism characteristics

Fengyoushan, a famous religious mountain, is located at the junction of zhentou town and Fuliang County in Wuyuan County. It is a scenic spot in Northeast Jiangxi Province. It is said that in ancient times, Phoenix often flew here to invite tourists, so it is called fengyoushan. The most impressive is the "stone forest". The stone forest has its own caves, which are connected with each other. Each cave seems to have no road, but it suddenly turns to show the world. It is exquisite and transparent. It is good at the beauty of Suzhou gardens, and it has no mark of artificial axe chiseling. It can not help but make people marvel at the magic of nature. At the top of the mountain, there is the ancient "Jingyin Temple" site, where Kaishan and Wang Chong's second ancestors practiced their Taoism in the past. Today, people build a new temple in part of the original Temple base. Although the scale is far less grand than before, the incense is still strong. Every year, the faithful men and women in several surrounding counties go to the mountain to worship.

On the mountain, there are magnificent peaks, luxuriant trees, dangerous rocks and strange rocks. There are "Mituo peak" which looks like a living Buddha tens of meters in the distance, the "Wanghu stone" which overlooks Fanyang lake, the "chopsticks bamboo" under the upper circle and the "Luohan bamboo" under the upper circle, and the "Yuanyang pond" which is separated by a clear and turbid stone (the turbid pond is said to be caused by a nun's Secret bath) . The most impressive is the "stone forest". Among the dense primitive broad-leaved trees, there are stone peaks as high as several feet, cracks, and holes as deep as a hundred feet. They are mixed high and low, with different sizes and shapes.
