Nanhua reservoir

Located in Yushan village, Nanhua Township, Tainan City, Taiwan Province, China, the reservoir, formerly known as houhori reservoir, runs from beiliao, Nanhua township to Jiaxian along the provincial road of the 20th line of Taiwan (nanheng highway). Built in 1988 and completed in 1994, it mainly supplies public water supply and sightseeing tourism in greater Tainan and greater Kaohsiung.

Because Nanhua reservoir is located in the catchment area, the terrain is high, and it is easy to cause clouds in wet weather. The beautiful scenery of clouds in the mountains also makes Nanhua reservoir a place that people yearn for. Under the planning of Nanhua Township Office, a military history park, an environmental protection park and a hydrophilic park have been set up here, and named "yuanzhilv leisure park", which has become a new local tourist attraction. "Youqing waterfall" is located in Guanshan village on the upstream of Nanhua reservoir. The large stones in the pool beside it are like a cave with water curtain. It is a very special landscape.
