Chongming Hanshan Temple is located at 21 Dongmen Road, Chongming City, Shanghai. In the fourth year of the Apocalypse of the Ming Dynasty, Yang junmen's wife Zhu came to Chongming by boat from Suzhou. Zhu's hair was cut off as a nun on the island, and his name was dianxiu. He built a temple called Hanshan Temple for Hanshan to pick up two statues. The original Hanshan Temple has 32 yuanyangzhai Temple rooms, covering an area of 494 square meters, with moat in the North (now Chongming Middle School Road), Renmin Road in the south, moat border in the West (agricultural building), and jiudaxiaochang in the East (now Xiangming Agricultural Machinery Factory). In 1995, with the approval of the religious affairs department, Hanshan Temple was opened to the public.

In addition to the same name and worship, the bell sounds of Hanshan Temple in Chongming and Hanshan Temple in Suzhou are said to be comparable to those of Hanshan Temple in East Gate of Yingzhou and Hanshan Temple outside Suzhou.

Hanshan Temple is located at 21 Dongmen Road, Chengqiao Town, covering an area of 494 square meters.

During the ten years of turmoil, Hanshan Temple was destroyed. After the Third Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Central Committee, master consciously (now the abbot of the temple) and master returned to the temple and held incense again. In 1995, with the approval of the religious affairs department, Hanshan Temple was opened to the public.
