Dadong Park, the former military garden of the three eastern provinces, was built in November 1925. Fengxi warlord zhang zuolin spent a lot of money on 120000 square meters of land. He hired skilled craftsmen from the South and imitated the ten sceneries of the West Lake in Hangzhou. With its early establishment, large scale and unique facilities, it can be called the first park in Shenyang ancient city. Now, as a District Park, Dadong park can only be regarded as the "little brother" in the major parks of Shencheng, and has become a good place for citizens to relax and keep fit.
