Wuli Gallery tourist area is a national tourist resource. Located in the south of Qianxi County, beside 321 national highway, it was formed by the construction of Dongfeng Hydropower Station

. The total length of the lake is 62 kilometers, the width is 60-1000 meters, and the lake area is nearly 20 square kilometers. The lake is clear, the reflection is deep and blue, quiet and beautiful. The steep peaks on both sides of the river are magnificent, and many waterfalls and springs fall into the lake. It is the most beautiful cliff gallery on the Wujiang River. With convenient transportation, the scenic spot is 80 kilometers away from the provincial capital Guiyang and 33 kilometers away from the western city of Guizhou. Formation background

Wujiang River is the largest tributary on the South Bank of the Yangtze River, with a total length of 1050 km

The south source of Sancha River originates from Xianglu mountain in Weining County, and the North source of Liuchong river originates from Dapo mountain in Hezhang County. The two sources meet in huawuji, Xinren Township, Qianxi County, which is named "hometown of Chinese folk culture and art" by the Ministry of culture and "tourism village with Chinese characteristics" by the China Village Development Association. The upper reaches of Wujiang River are from huawuji to Xianglu mountain, and Wujiang River is from Sinan In the middle reaches, the section from Sinan to Fuling into the Yangtze River is the lower reaches of Wujiang River.

Introduction to scenic spots

Wujiangyuan Baili gallery is an important part of Qianli Wujiang riverside tourism belt. It is a water tourism loop connecting zhijindong scenic area. It integrates Gaoxia, Pinghu, karst cave and waterfall. It is very spectacular and beautiful. It is a model of Gaoxia and Pinghu in karst area of Western China. It is known as a natural gallery with "a line above the sky and a bay in the gorge". The scenic spot is 80 kilometers away from Guiyang, 123 kilometers away from Bijie, 33 kilometers away from Qianxi County, and 7 kilometers away from zhijindong scenic spot. Wujiang River is the most beautiful cliff gallery on the Wujiang River. It roars all the way from the high gorge, deep valley and high mountains of Bijie. Dongfeng Lake

Wujiang River is one of the main tributaries of the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. It has two sources, Liuchong River in the north and Sancha River in the south. Both of them originate from Weining Yi, Miao and Hui Autonomous County, the highest terrain in western Guizhou. After several hundred kilometers of flowing in the deep gorge, the two streams finally merged into Wujiang River, and then continued to flow in the deep gorge across the central and Northern Guizhou, and finally merged into the Yangtze River in Fuling, Chongqing. In the 1960s, the state built the dam of Dongfeng Hydropower Station here, and the lake surface poured back into two streams, each with tens of kilometers, turning the rolling Wujiang River into a trident, very calm lake -- Dongfeng Lake

One of the remarkable characteristics of Dongfeng Lake is its cliffs on both sides. These cliffs are generally more than 300 meters in height, imposing and magnificent. In the Cretaceous period about 70 million years ago, there was an earth shaking crustal movement in China, which is geologically called "Yanshan movement". This movement created a great rift valley from the west to the northeast on the territory of Guizhou, and the bottom of the rift valley became the riverbed of Wujiang River more than 1000 kilometers long. Here, the relatively deep rock strata make the Rift Valley deeper than other places, and the nature is also wonderful. Huawu Miao Village

Along the Dongfeng Lake upstream for 40 minutes, there is a Miao village known as "the hometown of Miao song and dance in Guizhou Province". It is Huawu Miao village, which is located under sunziyan on the Bank of Dongfeng Lake and still retains the unique Miao customs. Hardworking, brave, intelligent Miao children are good at singing and dancing, hospitable and ready to welcome you in their unique way at any time. Although Baili Gallery has beautiful scenery, the transportation to the outside world is inconvenient, so it is more suitable for self driving travel: in Guiyang direction, you can choose Guihuang highway through Qingzhen, or Guibi highway through Qianxi County and then along national highway 321. Chongqing / Sichuan direction: you can choose Zunchong highway or Dana highway
