Feilai Lake Park

Feilai Lake Park is located at the junction of Qingcheng district and Qingxin District of Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province. Feilai Lake Park covers an area of about 3000 mu, including water surface area of about 1400 mu, land area of about 1100 mu, and road and road greening area of about 500 mu.

Feilai Lake Park covers a total area of about 2.01 million square meters (about 3020 mu). The lake area is divided into East and west areas by the Lake crossing bridge, which is the largest wetland park in Qingyuan City. The construction of Feilai lake is to improve the artificial flood storage and detention project of Qingcheng Lianwei, mainly for urban flood control and drainage, which is also an important part of Qingyuan Water System around the city.

About the park

Park Construction

The construction of Feilai Lake Park started in July 2009.

Feilai Lake Park covers a total area of about 2.01 million square meters (about 3020 mu). The lake area is divided into East and west areas by the Lake crossing bridge, which is the largest wetland park in Qingyuan City. Park facilities

Feilai Lake children's Park was officially opened to the public on the first day of 2015. On that day, about 60000 people came to visit Feilai Lake children's Park.

Park maintenance

The park is maintained and managed by Qingcheng District comprehensive Bureau, and Feilai Lake Park is maintained according to level 3

Standard management for half a year, follow-up management will be gradually improved. The highest standard of park greening maintenance is level 1, and the lowest standard is level 3. The higher the level is, the more expenses are needed. Just after the transfer of management, start from level 3 to accumulate experience for the later management.

Since December 1, 2013, the staff of Qingcheng district urban comprehensive bureau have been stationed in feilaihu park. After the handover, the main work is greening and cleaning, checking seedlings, and facility maintenance. In 2013, more than 40 cleaning staff regularly cleaned the road every day, and more than 40 security guards patrolled 24 hours. Feilai lake covers an area of more than 3000 mu, which will be gradually improved in the process of management. The 13 convenient post stations in the park are equipped with public toilets and leisure places.

Park traffic and attractions

There are many trees around Feilai lake, but the road is open and sunny.

On both sides of the road around Feilai lake are greenways with red roads (for bicycles) and parking spaces (for cars).

In the middle of Feilai lake, there is a lotus flower in the northeast part of the intersection of the cross Lake Bridge (National Highway 107, Qiaobei Road) and Huancheng Road (Renwu Department of Qingcheng District, next to the gas station).

The traffic at the intersection of Feilai Lake Bridge (National Highway 107, Qiaobei Road) and Huancheng Road (next to the people's Armed Forces Department and gas station in Qingcheng District) is very busy (with traffic lights). The traffic at the intersection of Qiaobei Road (National Highway 107) and Songgang Road, Qingsha Avenue is very busy (with traffic lights), so you should pay attention to safety.

Feilaihu bus terminus in the northeast of feilaihu is located next to Meilin Hongjing new town in Qingxin District, and officially put into use on August 1, 2019. No. 105, No. 113, No. 116, No. 201, No. 207, No. 212, No. 222 and No. 315 are adjusted to the first and last station of feilaihu, which greatly facilitates people's travel

Park Planning

In order to enhance the popularity of Qingyuan as a tourist city and increase the number of public recreation places, the Qingcheng district government will develop and build a comprehensive playground in Feilai Lake Park. Feilai Lake Park is located at the junction of Qingcheng district and Qingxin district. Considering the needs of the general public, Qingcheng district will add a theme playground in the park. In the aspect of environment, Qingcheng district requires the investors of amusement park to solve the management, environmental protection and operation management of the park on the basis of protecting the original ecological effect and comprehensive functions of disaster prevention and mitigation; all business activities are required not to pollute the lake environment. In order to ensure the reasonable layout of the amusement park, the project covers an area of no more than 330 mu, leaving enough space for citizens and tourists to play for free.
