Historical contribution
Master Yang luchan (1799-1872) is a representative figure of Taijiquan movement. He spent 20 years learning the essence of Taijiquan three times in Chenjiagou. He stuck to the essence of Taijiquan, failed to introduce Taijiquan, changed a lot, appeared and disappeared, and reached the realm of free will. Since then, Taijiquan has changed from unknown to praise, from secret to widespread. Princes, nobles and literati also joined the school one after another. In order to meet the needs of these people, Yang Lu Chan modified Chen's difficult movements, such as vigorous and jumping in the old frame, and created a set of "soft style" routines, which are graceful in posture, mellow in movement and firm in softness. Later, his son Yang Jianhou, Yang banhou and his grandson Yang Chengfu formed the most popular Yang Style Taijiquan.
