In 1934, when the graduation sports meeting was held in Tianjin, patriotic leaflets such as "don't forget the northeast", "recover the lost land" and "return my River and mountain" were distributed on the venue. In 1935, after taking part in the "129" movement, he went south on foot to petition and insisted on walking to Nanjing. In 1936, he took part in the May 28 March of Tianjin students against the Japanese troop increase in North China, and actively distributed leaflets, which was reported by newspapers. In the summer of 1936, he took part in the struggle of senior three students in Tianjin against the entrance examination. During the summer vacation, he took an active part in the rural compulsory education activities held by Tianjin, went to the rural areas in the suburbs of Tianjin, established private schools, and carried out patriotic education and anti Japanese propaganda activities among farmers. In the second half of 1936, he returned to Xinxiang and joined the vanguard of national liberation in the first batch to publicize the Anti Japanese War, boycott Japanese goods and launch student processions. On January 7, 1937, he went to Taiyuan, Shanxi Province to participate in the national salvation League led by the party and joined in the Anti Japanese struggle. In the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China. In the summer of that year, he served as secretary of the Jishan County Working Committee of the Communist Party of China, special commissioner of Jishan County of Shanxi League Association, and instructor of the self defense column of the people's Armed Forces Department of Jishan county. On February 1, 1938, the armed cadres of Xinjiang, Jishan, Hejin, Ningxiang and other counties met in Baipo village, Xishe Township, Jishan County, and were surrounded by the Japanese army. In order to cover the safe transfer of leading cadres and comrades in arms in various counties, he led some self-defense forces to fight bravely and died unfortunately.
