Maling Park in Suqian is located at the north end of Suqian county and Xingfu Road, Sucheng District, Suqian City. It covers an area of 90000 square meters (including 20000 square meters of garden). There used to be yuxu Temple (Zhenwu Temple), one of the nine main roads in China, and classical garden buildings such as Yanggong Pavilion, Tongfang Pavilion, library, dongxiwanghe tower, Sanqing hall, Yuhuang Pavilion, Wenchang hall, etc. At present, there are many memorial facilities such as the memorial tower and memorial hall for visitors to watch and hang. historical origin

In the autumn of 1933, Zhang Fan and Ma Shaozhong from Lianshui came to Suqian and became the county magistrate and Secretary of Suqian national government respectively. They thought that Suqian was Xiang Yu's hometown. They had long admired Suqian, so they invited Luo Zhiyuan, a local famous scholar, to visit Xiang Wang Temple in the south of the city. They paid a visit to their hometown and saw Yingfeng. Unfortunately, the ruins were broken, and they tried hard to repair and decorate the temple. They also raised money to build Yingfeng Pavilion in Xiangli in the south of the city, which is called "Xiangli Park". However, it is far away from the city, and it is not easy to travel overnight. Besides, more than 40000 people in the city have no place to relax and cultivate their temperament.

In his spare time of political affairs, county magistrate Zhang and Secretary Ma visited Maling mountain in the north of the city. This mountain is close to the ancient Yellow River. From a long-term perspective, the Yellow River Bends and carries water. Unfortunately, the pavilions have collapsed for a long time, and there are many thorns and weeds. Ma Baihua was a scholar, so he got the approval of county magistrate Zhang to build Maling Park, and local people also strongly supported it.

In the spring of 1935, the national government of Suqian County called a meeting in the name of the county government to discuss the construction plan and the division of tasks. About 600 teachers and students from various organizations and schools were mobilized to take part in the compulsory labor. After cutting thorns, weeding and filling and digging, the garden foundation was built in front of *, and a school was built. People returned to raise funds for building kiosks, build bridges, dig streams, lake and chisels, and build landscaped gardens. Based on the principle of "letting nature take its course", the garden is named after the food show Pavilion, yingyue bridge, Jiuqu River and Yishao lake. Yiquan was found in the corner of the wall. According to the county annals, there was a Yijing here, so it was obtained by following the old name. Since then, Secretary Ma named a South-North trending canal pond "Yishao Lake" because it looks like a long spoon (narrow and long in the north, wide and short in the South). Ten feet northeast of the lake, there are nine small ditches that are not curved. After dredging, they are like snakes and flow to a spoon of lake, which is named "Jiuqu River". Next, a grass pavilion was built on the East Bank of Yishao lake, which was named "dinner show Pavilion". In the South Pavilion, a couplet was written on two red pillars. The first couplet was "the arrival of all the sages in the morning and evening", and the second couplet was "the beauty of the moon every year". Inside the pavilion, there is a stone table and four stone benches for visitors to sit on. In addition, the Zhenwu temple and dongxiwanghe building on the top of the mountain were painted. The East building was named "Yang GONGTING" to commemorate the Qing Dynasty Anti Japanese hero General Yang Sihong, and the West building was named "Ruixuan library" to commemorate the patriotic poetess Ni Ruixuan. In addition, three thatched cottages were built at the foot of Shandong Province, with the title of "Ma Ling Ji Lu" to show respect for the sages and inspire future generations. There are two bronze statues in the hall. One is the temple God Zhenwu emperor, which is still kept in the niche for historical research; the other is Wei Zhongxian, the eunuch of the Ming Dynasty. They are placed in the corner of the wall to make tourists feel. More than ten thousand flowers and trees were planted in other open areas, and a school was set up in front to show that trees and people are equally important. In the west of the garden is the ancient Yellow River Road, with vast waves. It is also included in the garden, where you can walk or boat, climb mountains and Wade. The scenery is beautiful, which is incomparable with other counties. So far, Maling Park was built in that year.

In November 1938, all the construction of Maling Park was destroyed by the Japanese aggressors' artillery fire. It was not built until after liberation.

It is understood that Maling Park (the memorial hall of the Northern War) is a special care institution integrating Park, cemetery and memorial hall. With the development of urban construction and modern service industry in our city, Maling park is facing a rare opportunity of operation transformation and accelerated development. Since ancient times, Suqian has been a place of heroes. With the theme of "hero culture", according to the idea of "relying on the park to develop tourism, relying on tourism to create brand, relying on brand to expand industry, relying on industry to feed back the park", the overall intention and structure of the planning scheme actively connect with the old city reconstruction and the surrounding landscape improvement, and vigorously promote the industrial development and construction of the park's historical heritage and red tourist attractions as the main line, so as to create and highlight our city's urban landscape We should strengthen the soft power of culture. According to the combination of government leading and market operation, we should integrate resources, create high-quality products, upgrade standards, and realize the development goal of building the park into a large-scale comprehensive urban cultural leisure tourism community with red patriotism education, memorial, cultural display and other multiple functions.

The detailed plan design is divided into five functional areas: entrance service reception area, Subei war historical Memorial area, Maling Autumn Moon nostalgia area, hero culture experience area and modern business supporting area. The overall principle of project construction is low-density and high-quality. It mainly plans to build tourist service center, General Zhu Rui memorial hall, artillery culture theme square, hero Avenue, general forest, heroine Culture Park, Zhongwu academy, Hero World Hotel, Huaihai hero street, dual-use talent entrepreneurship center, general tea house, Youth Sunshine Education Camp, and new tourism development landscape projects. After the completion of the whole planning project, it will effectively solve the difficult problems such as the project support for the park's development and transformation, build Maling Park into the first hero culture theme community in Jiangsu Province and the hero Culture Industrial Park in Northern Jiangsu Province, and gradually make "hero culture" a new brand for Suqian's external exhibition.

It is reported that the core area of Maling park is planned to cover an area of more than 90000 square meters, and the plan is jointly constructed with the ancient Yellow River scenic spot, the blissful law court and the old TV tower near the southwest of the park. The total planned investment is about 240 million yuan. The project is divided into short-term, medium-term and long-term development and construction. According to the combination of long-term and short-term, step-by-step operation method to speed up the implementation progress, the recent investment of 15 million yuan. Through the capitalization of resources and the commercialization of the value chain, we will do everything possible to tap our own development potential and actively build a national 5A tourist attraction.

Approved by the municipal government in January 2011, Maling Park in the urban area will be open to the public free of charge from 2011. Dong Zhenyou, the person in charge of the park, told reporters that judging from the tourists' visit to the park, after the cancellation of the tickets, the number of tourists in Maling park will increase by at least 50% over the past.

Mr. Qiu, who lives in Xingfu street, told reporters happily that the decision to cancel the admission ticket of Maling park is deeply supported by the general public, because there are Memorial towers, memorial halls and many martyrs' stele pavilions here. The citizens also come to visit to remember the heroic deeds of the revolutionary martyrs, understand the past and inherit the glorious tradition of the revolution. Before the admission, some people who want to pay homage to the martyrs, the revolutionary predecessors and the heroic deeds of the martyrs will be affected by the ticket issue, which virtually makes the distance between the martyrs and the admirers.

It is understood that Maling park used to sell tickets according to the approval of the price department, receiving an average of 300000 tourists a year. Cancelling the tickets will double the number of tourists.

Dong Zhenyou told reporters that the cancellation of tickets in Maling park has opened the door of patriotic education to the public for free, but the management will not be lax. On the contrary, the management is more difficult. He said that while striving to provide a beautiful sightseeing environment for the public, he also hoped that the visitors would control their hands and feet, do not trample, do not paint, do not litter and spit, calling for everyone to take care of this AAA red tourist attraction.
