Xinping Tusi Mansion
Xinping Tusi mansion, also known as Ailaoshan Tusi mansion, is located on the hillside of Yaonan village, Jiasa Town, Xinping Yi and Dai Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, covering an area of 4.2 mu. It is composed of three buildings: courtyard, garden and stables. There are 65 rooms in total, with novel layout, unique shape and rich historical and cultural heritage. What's more strange is that the design of the gate of the Tusi mansion in the deep of Ailao Mountain is a combination of Chinese and Western styles. For fire prevention, the Tusi mansion built in Song Dynasty also thought of building a fire pool in the courtyard and a heating passage for heating.
How many historical trials and hardships has Xinping Tusi mansion carried. Xinping Tusi mansion was established in Song Dynasty. It belongs to "yanwang Tusi yamen" of Xinping in Dali Period of Song Dynasty and is under the hereditary jurisdiction of yanwang family of Dai nationality. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the former title of "yanwang chieftain" of the Dai nationality was transferred to the Li family in Longxi to manage Ailao Mountain, forming two chieftains of the Dai nationality and the Han nationality.
