Longjing
Longjing Village is located in the southwest of the West Lake scenic spot, surrounded by mountains on all sides, showing a trend of high in the north and low in the south. There are more than 800 permanent residents in the village, with nearly 800 mu of Alpine tea garden. The north peak, Shizi peak and Tianzhu peak in the northwest of the village form a natural barrier against the invasion of the northwest cold wind. Jiuxi is located in the south, with deep and wide valleys leading to Qiantang River. The southeast wind in spring and summer is easy to enter the valley. The geographical conditions of ventilation provide unique advantages for the growth of Longjing tea. Longjing tea produced here ranks first among "lion, dragon, cloud and tiger". It is said that when Emperor Qianlong went to Jiangnan, he went to the Hugong temple at the foot of Shifeng mountain in Longjing Village to taste Longjing tea. After drinking, he was full of praise and named the 18 tea trees in front of the temple "imperial tea".
In November 2017, Longjing Village was awarded the fifth national civilized village.
On December 12, 2019, Longjing Village was selected into the list of "beautiful leisure villages in China in 2019".
tourist resources
The village is rich in tourism resources, such as imperial tea garden, Hugong temple, Jiuxi, shililangdang and laolongjing. Hugong temple was first built in the Northern Song Dynasty. Under the cliff beside Hugong temple is the famous old Longjing. The spring surface is semicircular, about 3 meters wide, and the water quality is pure.
Longjing tea district
Shizifeng, Longjing, Lingyin, wuyunshan, Hupao and Meijiawu are fertile areas with overlapping mountains and lush trees. The terrain is high in the north and low in the south, which can not only block the cold current in the north, but also intercept the warm current in the south, forming a cloud over the tea area all the year round. Good geographical environment and high quality water supply provide unique natural conditions for tea production. Longjing tea is known as "the first tea in China", which is also derived from the aura of the mountain spring rain and dew.
"Longjing is the most famous tea in the world, and the top grade of Longjing is in Shifeng." The reason why Shifeng Longjing is famous is thanks to Emperor Qianlong. It is said that when Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he came to the foot of Shifeng mountain in Longjing, Hangzhou to learn how to pick tea. Just picked one, suddenly the eunuch came to report: "the Empress Dowager is ill, please hurry back to Beijing." Emperor Qianlong rushed back to the capital and brought back a handful of dried tea from Shifeng mountain in Hangzhou, which was full of fragrance.
The Empress Dowager wanted to taste the tea. She took a sip of the tea, and her eyes became more comfortable. After drinking the tea, the swelling disappeared and her stomach did not swell. The Empress Dowager said happily, "the tea from Longjing in Hangzhou is really a panacea." Emperor Qianlong immediately ordered that the 18 tea trees in front of Hugong temple at the foot of Shifeng mountain in Longjing, Hangzhou, be designated as royal tea. Every year, he picked new tea and paid tribute to the Empress Dowager.
Longjing is now a round spring pool about 2 meters in diameter. The spring flows into the West Lake from Maojiabu through yinmaqiao and Huangniling. The peculiarity of Longjing water is that when it is stirred, a water dividing line appears on the water surface, which swings like a gossamer. People think of it as "dragon beard", and then it slowly disappears. This spectacle has attracted tourists here and made them have more fun.
When Qianlong visited the south of the Yangtze River, he wrote the four characters of "eight sceneries of Longjing", namely Fenghuangling, guoxiting, dixinruo, yipianyun, fangyuanan, longhongjian, shenyunshi and cuifengge. Fenghuangling is named for its many bamboo trees. The pavilion is on the Huxi bridge at Fenghuangling. A piece of cloud is on Fenghuang mountain. It's a green and exquisite stone about Zhang high. It's named because it looks like a cloud. Shenyun stone stands on the Bank of Longjing spring, five or six feet high, like a dragon. Longhong stream is located in the old Longjing in the south of Fenghuang mountain. The marsh is to the north of a cloud. Cuifeng Pavilion is on Biluo peak. Qianlong of Qing Dynasty once inscribed "the best lake mountain" on the cliff behind the pavilion.
Longjing temple has a long history and rich cultural relics. The renovated Longjing Temple reproduces the beauty of mountains and rivers, forests and gullies, and integrates spring culture, tea culture and Buddhist culture. The main part of the building is exquisite and classic. The Tingquan pavilion built on the spring, the Cuifeng pavilion with high view, the Yushu building with complete facilities, xiucui hall and Qingxu Jingtai are all wonderful places for visitors to enjoy tea and explore the past and the present. The finished longhongjian water system reproduces the beautiful scenery of the past accompanied by peaks and springs.
legend
There is a legend: it is said that there was a spring in the village in ancient times. The spring water was flowing continuously, clear and fragrant, like the water given by the dragon. Villagers carved a tap with stone and placed it at the mouth of the spring to let the spring gush out from the mouth of the spring and never stop flowing. Later, a Fengshui man passed by the spring and drank its water. He thought it was magical, so he suggested that the villagers build wells to store water for drinking. So the villagers built a well here, and the well was named Longjing.
The village has springs and Dragons first, then dragons and wells, and then wells and villages. The name of Longjing Village evolved from this. At the edge of the hexagonal well in Longjing Village, the reporter saw an old stone tablet beside the well. The inscription reads: "Qingjing Ji: the well is named after the dragon, the village Longjing, Yuxiu Zhongling. It is strictly forbidden in the village to take water from the well and enjoy delicious food. They are not allowed to plough, taro or smelly things into the well. They are not allowed to dig well stones. If they violate the rules, they will be fined five catties of Youxiang and will never be forgiven. " The inscription was made on the auspicious day of Mengdong in the 49th year of Qianlong reign.
Longjing is located at the side of the South Village Road. It goes down the stairs. The ancient well is hexagonal. The wellhead is very low. You can touch the clear well water with your hand. Moss grew all over the wellhead. After villagers used tap water, the ancient well became a place for women to wash clothes. Overlooking the ancient well, there is an ancient breath coming from the well.
The dragon is sacred in the eyes of Longjing villagers. After the village was named after Longjing, the villagers built a dragon temple in the southeast of the village to worship the dragon as a God. On the Dragon Boat Festival on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month, the villagers invite Longgong out of the temple to visit the dragon water in tiantangxi, Longgong Bay, east of the village. The scene is very grand. Year by year, Longjing villagers continue to worship the dragon, and the inheritance remains unchanged.
Renovation and reconstruction
Longjing Village, the famous origin of Longjing tea at home and abroad, began to be renovated on June 14, 2005, and the whole protection project was completed on the national day of November 2005.
Longjing Village, located in the western hinterland of West Lake scenic spot, starts from Longjing temple in the East, reaches laolongjing royal tea garden in the west, and reaches the north end of shibajian in the south. The whole village is distributed in a "Y" shape, with a total area of 18.09 hectares. It is the core area of Longjing tea culture and leisure scenic spot in the planning and construction of West Lake.
According to the project planning, Longjing Village will be protected and renovated in accordance with the requirements of "removing illegal activities and removing obstacles, showing mountains and dew". The main works include the demolition of illegal buildings and attached houses and scaffolds, the renovation of the facade of rural residential buildings in the form of traditional houses, the renovation and reinforcement of stream revetment, the addition of bridges and guardrails, etc. At the same time, the domestic and production sewage of the whole village will all be brought into the urban sewage pipe network, and the power transmission lines will all be buried underground, so as to effectively protect and improve the environment of the village.
Among the 145 farmers involved in the renovation of Longjing Village, in addition to demolishing more than 12000 square meters of illegal buildings, the legal rural houses that have to be demolished only cover an area of more than 100 square meters.
The renovation project of Longjing Village is carried out in the form of "private public assistance", and the government is responsible for the transformation of public infrastructure such as tap water access and sewage interception. Farmers, on the other hand, pay for the transformation of their own houses according to the planning requirements. The 145 villagers who took part in the renovation paid at least 100000 yuan, and at most hundreds of thousands of yuan. Wang Jiapeng, No. 358, Longjing Village, spent more than 300000 on the interior and exterior decoration of his home, as well as the purchase of air conditioners, refrigerators and other household appliances. "Now that the environment is good, there will be more tourists and the investment will be recovered.
