That is to say, the museum, library and archives were included in one building, so it was called "three museums". With a total construction area of 2800 square meters, the museum only has a 400 square meter exhibition hall of Oroqen hunting culture. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the founding of the flag in 2001, the flag Committee and the flag government invested a lot of money in the comprehensive transformation of the museum and its surrounding environment, and moved out the library and archives. After the reconstruction and expansion, the museum has a total area of 3200 square meters, with four basic exhibitions and a temporary exhibition hall, becoming a comprehensive local museum. Around the museum is an open square, which covers an area of 21000 square meters. The sculpture called "sublimation immortal column" stands on the square behind the museum, which is a symbol of Oroqen national culture. The tall bronze statue of Oroqen hunter hunting on horseback is located in the square in front of the museum, representing the hero image of Oroqen nationality. The museum is located in the center of the square It has become a landmark building of the autonomous flag.

Collection
The Oroqen museum was founded in 1991 with a variety of collections. However, the warehouse conditions at that time were relatively poor, and there was no scientific and reasonable protection for the collections. In 2001, the museum renovated its premises, designed the warehouse, and greatly improved its storage conditions and collection facilities. The museum has 1244 pieces of cultural relics.
Museum collections include: national cultural relics, Xianbei, historical relics. A small number of revolutionary cultural relics are mainly divided into two categories: birch skin products and animal skin products. Others: wood, bone, cloth, stone, pottery, leather, bronze, iron, animal specimens, etc.
Introduction to cultural relic identification:
In 2004, a group of experts from the Department of culture of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region came to our museum to identify some ethnic cultural relics, and 19 sets of ethnic cultural relics were identified as class I cultural relics.
In 2005, the expert group of Hulunbuir Museum came to our museum to identify 37 second-class cultural relics and 38 third-class cultural relics.
What's more gratifying is that in 2005 and 2006, birch skin products and animal skin products were listed as the first and second batch of national intangible cultural heritage by the State Council.
