Che Chang Zi Anti Japanese guerrilla base
Chechangzi Anti Japanese guerrilla base is located in the valley fork of the upper reaches of the Gudong River, at the junction of Helong and Antu. Now it belongs to he'an village, Wolong Township, Helong city. The main sites are: the site of the second army headquarters and regiment headquarters of the Northeast People's revolutionary army, the site of the arsenal, the site of the quilt factory, etc. In January 1935, more than 1000 soldiers and civilians from the Anti Japanese guerrilla bases in Yanji, Helong and Antu came to chechangzi and established the largest and most influential chechangzi Anti Japanese base in Eastern Manchuria at that time. At that time, the second army headquarters and the first and second regiment headquarters of the Northeast People's revolutionary army were stationed here. They were the command center leading the Anti Japanese military and civilian armed struggle in Eastern Manchuria. In October 1935, the Japanese aggressors began to invade the base area on a large scale. In order to preserve their strength, the second army of the Northeast People's revolutionary army withdrew from the chechangzi base area, marched separately to the South Manchuria, and cooperated with the first army. The first and second regiments of the second army were also transferred to the Anti Japanese guerrilla base at Naitoushan, Antu.
