Zunsheng white tower
This magnificent white pagoda is the highest Pagoda in Tibet. Langjiqu ascended the meaning of the diamond throne pagoda, which is called "Zunsheng White Pagoda" in Chinese.
Zunsheng white pagoda is far away from lingque ancient temple at the foot of Nico mountain, adding a strong religious color to Xianshui ancient town.
Historical evolution
In July 1986, when the tenth Panchen Lama, who was then vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, inspected Daofu, he told the believers: "in order to maintain the reunification of the motherland, national unity and stability in Tibetan areas, we should build Buddhist pagodas regardless of ethnic groups, regions and sects, so as to express our best wishes.". He also inscribed the white tower with his own handwriting: "longitridden". Buddhist disciples follow the instructions of the master, and solicit money from all sides. In 1988, the foundation was laid and the construction started. It took several years and cost millions. In 1991, it was completed and opened to the outside world. A Pei a Wang Jinmei, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress, wrote the inscription "carry forward the patriotic spirit of the Panchen Lama" in memory of this.
Artistic features
Zunsheng white pagoda consists of the main Pagoda in the center and 24 small pagodas. Stone wood structure. The main tower is 53.24 meters high and the length and width of the tower foundation are 28.4 meters respectively. Zunsheng white tower is a hollow tower with 13 floors. There is a wooden ladder to climb to the top of the tower. The front of the main pagoda faces east, with a lecturing platform; the south, North and West are surrounded by 24 small pagodas with beautiful shape. The main tower is tall and towering, and the small tower is exquisite and handsome, which is full of national characteristics.
The main tower is divided into three sections: seat, body and brake. The tower base is a square three-stage platform. The platform is a sutra turning tunnel connected with all sides, with 168 copper Sutra turning tubes. Each year, one statue of the Four Heavenly Kings is provided in the center of the platform, with Tibetan Chinese Buddhist mantra and Buddhist patterns. On the platform is a square main tower, surrounded by 12 Buddhist halls, with 44 square shrines on the top, each with a statue of Buddha. The middle part of the pagoda gradually shrinks upward. First, it is a stepped three-stage disc, each of which is built with a number of square windows. Second, it is the body of the vase pagoda, which has a four Buddha Hall. Climbing to the ninth floor, there is a circular passage outside. The 13th floor is a large platform with cornices. On the 13th floor stands a high cylindrical wheel type conical tower brake, covered with a lotus petal shaped hollow cast Sanskrit Buddha mantra, with a top symbolizing the sun and the moon.
Human history
Among the 16 Buddhist halls in the pagoda, there are 58 statues of Buddha, the forefathers of four sects, Ningma, Sakya, Gaju and Gelu, and the Dharma protectors. Set all sects in one hall, the doctrine of each family, respected by all. There are 68 bronze Buddhas in the divine cupboard, hundreds of volumes of Tripitaka and other Buddhist classics, Thangka murals depicting Sakyamuni's life hanging in the corridor inside the pagoda, and 16 precious gold-plated and wood carved Buddha statues in the heart of the pagoda, which have certain cultural and ornamental value.
The statue of Buddha Hall has a dignified appearance and a lively look. There are bodhisattvas with a kind face, Avalokitesvara with a thousand hands and eyes, the heavenly king with angry eyes, and the ferocious Dharma protector. When you enter the hall, you will feel the solemn and mysterious atmosphere of Tibetan Buddhism.
White pagoda is a Buddhist building, the whole tower shape, primary and secondary clear, rigorous layout, beautiful shape. The body of the pagoda is clean and white, and the villa is heavy. The Tasha is golden, the hall is magnificent, and the eaves of the pagoda are jingling with the wind. Around the pagoda are green lawns and newly planted orchards. The White Pagoda in the green cluster makes the beautiful New Zealand river bank a holy land for Buddhism.
