Henan University of Finance and Economics

In the early 1980s, in order to meet the urgent needs of the economic development of Henan Province, the CPC Henan Provincial Committee and the people's Government of Henan Province decided to prepare for the establishment of Henan University of Finance and economics.

In 1981, Henan University of Finance and economics began to apply for the bid.

In April 1982, Henan University of Finance and economics was officially established.

In April 1983, it was officially established with the approval of the State Education Commission; in October of the same year, more than 100 students were enrolled in the two majors.

In 1984, we set up 6 undergraduate majors in finance, finance, trade economy, industrial economy, agricultural economy and statistics.

In 1993, Henan University of Finance and economics obtained the right to confer master's degree.

In 2008, Henan University of Finance and economics passed the undergraduate teaching evaluation of the Ministry of education, and obtained excellent results.

Henan Administrative Cadre College of politics and law

The history of running the college can be traced back to the West Henan Administrative Cadre school established in 1948.

After 1949, the school moved to Kaifeng, renamed Henan Administrative College, and soon merged into Henan University, established as the Administrative College of Henan University.

In 1952, the Department of administration of Henan University was set up as the cadre school of Henan Provincial People's Committee.

 

In August 1956, it was named Henan political and legal cadre school.

In October 1984, the political and legal cadre school merged with Henan political and legal Cadre College (the second central political and legal cadre school; founded in Jiyuan) to establish Henan political and legal cadre college.

In June 1985, it was officially named Henan Administrative Cadre College of politics and law.

 

Merger and reorganization

On March 22, 2010, the former Henan University of Finance and economics and the former Henan College of political science and law management merged to form Henan University of Finance and economics.

 

In October 2010, Longzihu campus was completed and put into use.

Teaching construction

As of March 2015, Henan University of economics and law has four national characteristic majors, three national comprehensive reform pilot programs, 13 provincial excellent courses and one provincial bilingual teaching demonstration course, and four provincial experimental teaching demonstration centers.
