Maokong
Maokong was originally a small valley on the east side of the tea district. Due to its soft geology, the riverbed was eroded by pebbles for many years, and the water flow was like cat's paw. The name "Maokong (hole)" spread. After opening its popularity, it became the synonym of Mucha sightseeing tea garden. There are at least 50 or 60 leisure tea shops on the road around the mountain. Whether in the open-air tea house or garden landscape, it seems that they have reached the realm of immortality by drinking tea with their friends or family members and the gentle breeze of the mountains.

Over a long period of time, many oval or round caves have been ground out on the stream bed, which is called "pot holes" in geology. In the early years, local residents used Taiwanese to pronounce this kind of uneven "pot hole" as "Laikang", which is similar to the Mandarin "Maokong", so the word "Maokong" has been used all the time.
