Tianshui Bridge

Tianshui bridge, commonly known as "beiguanyin bridge", is located in Tianshui street, Jinxi Town, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. It was first built in the fifth year of Yongle in the Ming Dynasty (1407) and rebuilt in the ninth year of Shunzhi in the Qing Dynasty (1652). North South trend, across the north oil vehicle port.

Commonly known as "North Guanyin bridge", it is located in Tianshui street, Jinxi Town, Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. The existing Tianshui bridge is a single span arch bridge with a length of 17.2 meters, a width of 2.7 meters and a clear span of 6 meters. The height is 3.1 meters, the arch is bluestone, and the rest is granite. The bridge is a single span arch bridge. The arches are connected longitudinally and laid side by side. The whole bridge is stable and generous. It is integrated with the residential buildings, streets and river ports, forming a humanistic landscape with the characteristics of water town.

The most unforgettable part of this bridge is the two couplets on the East and west sides of the bridge. The east end of the bridge is: "all evils and evils are the first, and all kinds of good and filial piety are the first." The west end is: "may heaven always produce good people, and may people always do good deeds." It reflects the people's clear attitude towards good and evil and their yearning for good things. It is well preserved. In 2004, it was announced as the third batch of cultural relics protection units in Kunshan City.
