Yiling Yangtze River Bridge
Yiling Yangtze River Bridge, located on the Yangtze River waterway, is a river crossing channel connecting the military area command and Wujiagang District in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China. It is one of the important parts of the main urban road in the middle of Yichang City and the 11th Changjiang Bridge in Hubei Province.
The construction of Yiling Yangtze River Bridge started on November 28, 1998;
The closure project of the main bridge was completed on August 22, 2001, and the whole bridge was connected;
It was put into operation on December 29, 2001.
Yiling Yangtze River Bridge starts from Qiaonan road in the south, crosses Yangtze River waterway and ends at Stadium Road in the north. The total length of the line is 3246 meters, and the main bridge is 936 meters long. The bridge deck is designed as a two-way six lane urban trunk road with a design speed of 60 km / h. The total investment of the project is 610 million yuan.
Construction process
On February 9, 1998, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge held a feasibility study report evaluation meeting;
On November 28, construction of Yiling Yangtze River Bridge started.
On August 22, 2001, the closure of the main bridge of Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was completed, and the whole bridge was connected;
On December 29, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was opened to traffic.
On March 1, 2005, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge plans to cancel toll stations to promote the economic development of Yichang city.
On December 14, 2011, Yichang municipal people's government issued mayor's order No. 154, which promulgated the "Yichang Yiling Yangtze River Bridge Management Regulations", which stipulated the cancellation of Bridge charges;
On December 24, the toll station of Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was cancelled, and the bridge stopped charging.
On November 28, 2015, deformation observation of Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was carried out.
On November 5, 2016, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was maintained and repaired.
On April 5, 2017, Yiling Yangtze River Bridge was repaired.

Bridge location
Yiling Yangtze River Bridge is located in Yichang City, Hubei Province, China, connecting the south bank Point Military Region and the north bank Wujiagang district. It is about 7.6km away from the downstream Gezhouba hydro junction dam in the north, about 4.1km away from the downstream Xijiang River Bridge in the north, and about 10km away from the upstream Yichang Yangtze River Highway Bridge in the south. The bridge starts from Yiqiao road and Jiangnan Road interchange hub of the military region in the north, crosses the Yangtze River Waterway in the north, and connects Shengli third road in the north The south section of the route passing through the bridge is Yiqiao Road, and the north section is Shengli No.3 road.

Yiling Yangtze River Bridge is composed of main bridge, three pylons, stay cables, north-south approach bridges and Interchange Ramps. The main bridge section is arranged from southwest to northeast.

The Yiling Yangtze River Bridge is 3.246 km long, with a span of (38 + 38.5 + 43.5 + 2x348 + 43.5 + 38.5 + 38) meters. The main bridge is 936 meters long, the main bridge deck is 23.0 meters wide, the sidewalk outside the lane is 2.0 meters wide, the cable area in the middle of the bridge deck is 3.5 meters wide, the main beam is 3.0 meters high, the roof is 23.0 meters wide, the floor is 5 meters wide, and the cantilever length of the cantilever plates on both sides is 3.5 meters. The total height of the middle tower is 126 meters, and the total height of the South and North towers is 106.5 meters; the longitudinal width of the middle tower is 7 meters, the bottom width of the tower is 13.8 meters, the longitudinal width of the South and North towers are 5.5 meters, and the bottom width of the tower is 15.4 meters; the length of each bored pile of the middle tower is 42.0 meters, the pile cap size is (16 × 16) meters, the pile length of the side tower is 44.0 meters in the north, 34.0 meters in the south, and the plane size of the pile cap is (14 × 16). Each side tower is equipped with 18 pairs of stay cables, and the middle tower is equipped with 32 pairs of stay cables. There are 236 stay cables in the whole bridge. The diameter of single steel strand is 15.24 mm, the strength of steel strand is 1770 MPa, and the allowable stress is 0.45. The total weight of stay cables is 1225 tons. The steel consumption of the main bridge is about 5673 tons, the total weight of cable steel strand is 1225 tons, and the concrete is about 43898 cubic meters.

1. The scheme of three pylons and single cable plane cable-stayed bridge is put forward timely. With two large spans covering the whole navigation area, the scheme has good navigation conditions, the construction and installation cost is 165 million yuan, and the economic benefit is remarkable;
2. In order to improve the stiffness of the cable-stayed bridge with three pylons, the multi hole continuous structure is adopted in the side span. The technical difficulty to solve the stiffness of the three tower system is lower than that of the two tower system, the structural system is reasonable, and the scheme is feasible and economical;
3. Diamond shaped pylon structure. The bridge tower has reasonable stress, strong anti-collision ability, simple construction and novel shape, which realizes the harmonious unity of stress, beauty and economy;
4. A complete set of mature calculation program and monitoring technology are used in the cantilever assembly of the main girder, which makes the cable-stayed bridge successfully realize the simultaneous high-precision closure of double main spans without any compulsory measures;
5. The closure harness of cable-stayed bridge uses both internal and external tendons. After detailed study on the mechanical behavior of external tendons, the design concept of segmental anchorage of external tendons and a complete set of anchorage details are proposed, which opens up a new idea for bridge design;
6. It has created the world record of the longest segment prefabrication and assembly of prestressed concrete box girder. The main girder is constructed by segmental prefabrication and assembly method, which has the advantages of easy quality assurance, fast construction speed, short construction period and low investment. Its 348m assembling span is the largest in the world, and the largest double outrigger bridge with a total length of 383m is unprecedented;
7. A new type of fully enclosed copper stranded cable system with many technical advantages is adopted. The system has the advantages of high accuracy of cable force establishment, convenient construction, no need of large lifting equipment, superior anti-corrosion performance and easy replacement;
8. The self-developed advanced light multi-functional walking type hydraulic control cantilever crane has a dead weight of 34 tons, which is convenient to move forward through the cable area, stepless speed change, small lifting impact force, the lifting beam block can move back and forth 50 cm, and it is convenient to adjust in the direction of 6 degrees of freedom;
9. A set of special tools is made by ourselves, which improves the whole bundle threading technology of long steel strand in the main girder.
