Luhun scenic spot is a provincial natural scenic spot, located in the north of Song County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, with Luhun reservoir as the center, including Hubin County, hometown of Liangcheng, hometown of Yiyin, Jianggong temple and other scenic spots. It has unique human landscape and natural landscape, and is characterized by water entertainment and conference tourism. It is one of the top ten scenic spots in Luoyang City.

Development history

Lu Hun got his name from his army. Lu Hun's army first lived in Luhun, Guazhou (now Dunhuang, Gansu Province). Later, he was lured by Qin and Jin Dynasties and moved eastward to Yichuan (now Yishui basin, Henan Province), belonging to Jin Dynasty. In 525 BC, in the name of defection, Jin sent troops to attack and destroy it. King Lu Hun and some of his adherents were exiled in Chu. They took Lu as their surname and later became a famous family in Jiangdong.

During the whole Zhou Dynasty, Rong, Di, Yi and man were very difficult to survive in these small nations. They were discriminated against culturally, and they were unable to fight with the feudal states with Ji surname. If there is a conflict, no matter whether they win or lose, they are always wrong. Those powerful princes, who attack them for no reason, are also regarded as a just act of respecting the king and fighting the foreigners. King Zhuang of Chu once attacked Lu Hun's army, and took the opportunity to ask the royal family of Zhou about the weight of the nine tripods. Perhaps these painful experiences made Lu's descendants more or less timid in character, dare not be proud of their merits, dare not be arrogant of their fame, dare not be proud of their talents, dare not be complacent of their achievements, but made the glorious history of perhaps the most glorious family in Chinese history.

Luhun tourist area is a scenic spot mainly for sightseeing, vacation and conference. It was developed in 1992. It has built 22 kilometers of high standard special tourist highway around the reservoir. In addition to the original Luhun section of luoluan highway, it has formed a complete, smooth, safe and convenient tourist transportation network. There are 9 tourist hotels in the area, with a total of 2000 beds and 5000 dining places. Luhun tourist resort and Luhun hotel are two-star hotels. Luhun tourist area is characterized by water entertainment, with 50000 mu of lake surface rippling and complete water entertainment projects. It is known as "Central Plains red bay" and is the best water park in Central Plains. Surrounded by purple air, water and sky, green mountains, birds singing and flowers fragrant, fish flying at the bottom and fishing songs answering each other, it has become the main scenic spot of eco-tourism in the south line of Luoyang. The tourists here forget to return.

Luhun Reservoir Scenic Spot is located near Luhun village, Tianhu Town, Song County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, on the Yi River, a secondary tributary of the Yellow River, 67 kilometers away from Luoyang City. Luhun reservoir controls a drainage area of 3492 square kilometers, accounting for 57.9% of the area of the Yi River basin. Luhun Reservoir Scenic area covers an area of 60 square kilometers.
