Second Art Zone

"Barge 2" means the second dock. It was originally a port warehouse, but later it was transformed into a special art zone. The mottled iron gate and exposed concrete wall surface are preserved, showing the original appearance of the port capital. The Cultural Bureau of the Kaohsiung Municipal government often holds a series of activities here, such as the Kaohsiung Design Festival, the hero play byte, the steel carving art festival, the container Art Festival and so on. Main attractions

Barge two art zone is located at the south end of Dayong Road, Yancheng District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. "Feeder 2" refers to the second feeder terminal, which is located in the third canal of Kaohsiung port. It was built on June 12, 1973 and used to be a general port warehouse. With the decline of banana export industry, "barge 2" warehouse, which stores goods, has no place to use and is idle and abandoned. In 2000, the Kaohsiung Municipal government came across this experimental field in search of a national day fireworks display site. Since 2006, it has been operated by the Cultural Bureau of Kaohsiung City.

Labor Museum
