Zhenqu Pavilion
Zhenqu Pavilion is a pavilion written by Emperor Qianlong.
There is a really interesting Pavilion in Suzhou Lion Forest. It is said that the word "zhenqu" was written by Emperor Qianlong.
In 1762, Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River to visit the Lion Grove in Suzhou. At that time, he called his entourage Bei Yan and wrote down "really interesting". At this time, Huang Xi, who was the number one tour guide for Qianlong, saw him and felt vulgar. He said, "long live the imperial pen is a thousand gold, and I'm as poor as a penny. I'd like to ask the emperor to give the words in the middle to the slave." When Qianlong understood his intention, he also felt that it was too vulgar and would damage his reputation, so he gave him the word "zhenqu". After Qianlong left, local officials built pavilions here, and took the word "zhenqu" as the name of the pavilion.
