Located in Jiefang North Road, Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, it is opposite to Yuexiu Park with beautiful scenery. It used to be a small herbarium botanical garden. Orchid garden area is only 39000 square meters, but in this small world of orchid art, there are more than 200 varieties and nearly 10000 pots of orchids. Cymbidium, Cymbidium and Cymbidium have strong fragrance, while cattleya, Dendrobium, wandailan and Oncidium have colorful flowers and various postures.

The main scenic spots are xiyinxuan, lanxiangmanlu Pavilion, Fuchunjiang River, Zhude stele, Zhuli cottage, Lanse Chunguang Pavilion, qianya pagoda, yewei monk, Xiaoqiao Shuishui Dujuan mountain, Fanghua garden and Mingjing Pavilion. The orchid garden, with a total area of more than 50000 square meters, was built in 1951. At the beginning, it was a herbarium garden. In 1957, it was transformed into a professional orchid garden. After continuous expansion and construction, it became a famous garden. Orchid garden planting is divided into three grids. The first and third grids are mainly cultivated orchids with light and fragrant flowers. The second grid is mainly parasitic orchids with bright and less fragrant flowers. The architecture in the garden imitates the style of Suzhou garden: arch, mound, stone masonry, corridor and waterside pavilion. According to the ups and downs of the terrain, streams and waterfalls, stone roads and small bridges are set up, and luxuriant forests and bamboo trees are planted to make the scenery crisscross, see the big from the small, and move the scenery step by step, so as to achieve the artistic realm of "Humble Administrator" and "staying in the garden". There are more than 100 varieties of orchids collected in the garden, more than 10000 pots of potted plants, and more than 4000 pots of other valuable flowers. The famous scenic spots are xiyinxuan, chunguangting, fanghuayuan, mingjingge, etc. among them, fanghuayuan is a miniature garden of China participating in Munich International Horticultural Exhibition, which is famous for its small area and many scenic spots.
