Tomb of Liu Kuntao
Liu Kuntao's tomb is located at the foot of Yunlu palace in Yuelu Mountain of Changsha City. It is a cultural relic protection unit in Changsha City.

He was moved here from Zhuzhou in 1920. It covers an area of about 300 square meters. There are two platforms in the cemetery, surrounded by more than 30 steps on the west side, all of which are granite masonry. The tomb is located in the middle of the upper platform. The tomb is round, with a perimeter of 13.5 meters at the bottom. The tombstone is tower shaped, with a square column and a cone-shaped top. It is 6.8 meters high. It is engraved with five characters of Li Shu, the tomb of Liu Kuntao. At the back of the tomb, the rubble is built around the tomb, about 3 meters high, with a stele screen embedded in it, which is composed of five links of white marble steles. The main stele is 1.65 meters high and 0.6 meters wide. It is engraved with the inscription "the protector of the law, awarded by the military government". The left and right steles respectively contain the life and official position of the owner of the tomb, the date and the inscription of the tomb. In front of the tomb, there are worship platform, stone bench, terrace and stone fence. It is located on a high platform with a wide field of vision. The mountain Lane passes under the tomb.
Liu Kuntao
Liu Kuntao (1887-1918) was born in Liling County, Changsha Prefecture in Qing Dynasty. He graduated from Baoding army accelerated school. Alliance members. He successively served as the cavalry captain of xuebingying of Guangxi new army and the management belt of mixed cavalry battalion. After the Wuchang Uprising, he went to Nanjing with Zhao hengti to assist Hubei and served as the cavalry commander of the eighth division. In 1913, he took part in the "second revolution" and went to Japan after his defeat to join Waseda University. In 1916, he returned to China and became the commander of the first brigade of the first division of Hunan army. In 1917, the Lingling garrison envoy supported Sun Yat Sen's idea of "protecting the law" and declared Heng Yong's independence with Lin Xiumei, which opened the prelude to the war of protecting the law. Later, he fought in the East and north of Hunan Province and repeatedly defeated the Beiyang army. In May 1918, he fell into the water and died in the Qijia bridge in Zhuzhou.
