Sports training hall
The most eye-catching feature of the astronaut center is the small red building surrounded by a row of green trees. A clean road extends to the front of the building, which is the astronaut apartment. Here, every astronaut has his own living room. The study and life of astronauts will not be interfered. Doctors take turns on duty 24 hours a day, providing medical supervision and medical insurance support for astronauts anytime and anywhere.
Next to the astronaut apartment is the astronaut physical training center. Walking into the training hall, you can see all kinds of equipment used by astronauts for physical training: a few meters high climbing wall, an indoor basketball court, a tennis court, and a trampoline specially used for astronaut training.
development history
On the morning of September 29, 2008, astronauts Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng returned to Beijing Space City and were warmly welcomed. At about 9:20 a.m., three astronauts arrived at the gate of the space city to welcome the crowd, which was noisy with gongs and drums.
On the morning of September 29, 2008, cadres and masses of all ethnic groups of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region held a grand farewell ceremony in front of the hotel building of Inner Mongolia Military Region, warmly sending off Zhai Zhigang, Liu Boming and Jing Haipeng, three astronauts, back to Beijing.
At the scene of the event, huge banners were particularly eye-catching: "the people of grassland warmly welcome the return of space heroes", "the people of all ethnic groups in Inner Mongolia warmly congratulate the Shenzhou-7 manned space flight for its complete success".
At 6:30 p.m. in 2008, three astronauts in blue spacesuits appeared in front of us. The youth representatives presented hada and flowers to the three astronauts. The astronauts waved to the crowd. In the music "ten thousand horses galloping" played by Matouqin, three astronauts boarded the car and left.
At 10:30 a.m. on December 7, 2016, astronauts Jing Haipeng and Chen Dong of Shenzhou 11 met with the media at the astronaut apartment of Beijing Aerospace City. This is also the first public appearance of the two astronauts 21 days after they returned to earth for isolation.
On January 12, 2017, the factory evaluation meeting of tianzhou-1 cargo spaceship was held, and the leaders and evaluation experts agreed that tianzhou-1 passed the factory evaluation. The passing of this review means that tianzhou-1 has made another substantial step towards its space expedition in April this year. In other words, tianzhou-1 was born in such a gorgeous way!!!
Tianzhou-1 cargo spaceship is a fully sealed cargo spaceship with a take-off mass of 13 tons and a material transportation capacity of 6 tons. It adopts a two compartment configuration. This time, it will verify the technology of propellant supplement in orbit, and pave the way for the construction of China's space station in the future.
Space research
Discipline construction, personnel training and laboratory system construction are the three major tasks of the center's infrastructure construction. The subject construction of the three major constructions is the "leader", which puts forward the demand and goal of talent training from the perspective of discipline, and promotes the subject construction to the depth and breadth through talent training and laboratory system construction. The three complement each other and promote each other.
The center adheres to the guidance of system theory, highlights the characteristics of the combination of medical and engineering, carries out scientific research with the goal of ensuring the safety, health and efficient work of astronauts, and creates Aerospace Medical Engineering with Chinese characteristics, involving Aerospace Science and technology, basic medicine, psychology, clinical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine, preventive medicine and hygiene, biology, computer science and technology It includes space medical engineering general technology, astronaut selection and training, space gravity physiology, space ergonomics, space gravity physiology, space implementation medicine, space suit engineering, environmental control and life support engineering, space biomedical engineering, space environmental biology, space suit engineering, space nutrition and food engineering According to the plan of "three levels and two categories" (national level, center level and laboratory level, professional level and general level), the laboratory system of the center has been constructed, and a number of key technologies have been conquered, and a large number of research projects with international advanced level have been achieved The results provide reliable scientific theoretical basis and technical support for engineering development and task implementation.
At the same time, the center has also trained a team of high-quality scientific and technological talents from more than 70 different majors, of which more than 70% are technical backbones under the age of 35. A group of talents who are both professional and good at management have become the technical leaders of various systems and majors, among which 31% have been awarded senior titles and 48% have intermediate titles.
In 1986, with the approval of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council of China, the center has the right to confer master's degrees in two disciplines: "man machine and environmental engineering" and "aviation, aerospace and Nautical Medicine". There are 25 doctoral students and 267 graduate students in the scientific research team of the center, accounting for 47% of the total number, including 10 doctoral supervisors and 45 master supervisors. They respectively hold the positions of supervisors in Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, National University of Defense Science and technology and other colleges and universities. The disciplines involved include environmental science and environmental engineering, environmental control and life support technology, and biomedical engineering It has cultivated a large number of successors in the fields of aviation, aerospace and Nautical Medicine, aerospace science and technology, etc.
