Cassock spring
Casaya spring, also known as Dugu spring, is located under the South Cliff on the east side of lunzang Temple site in Lingyan temple. According to Lingyan Zhi written by Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, "in the past, there was a hermit named Dugu, who was near Maoquan, and later generations named Mingquan.". During the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty, Liu Liang, a Jinshi and Licheng native, lived in seclusion in Lingyan and built a "mianbizhai" beside the spring. Because he was tired of the word "Dugu", he changed his name to "Yinquan", implying that Buddhism came from India. Later, because there was a piece of cast iron called "iron cassock" beside the spring, it was named "cassock spring".
