Lubu reservoir has changed from irrigation to water supply. A long pipeline to Lianghui reservoir and a water tunnel through the mountain show the importance of water supply in Yuyao City and Cixi City. No wonder the 12th Five Year Plan of Yuyao City has the goal of strengthening the protection and conservation of primary water source of Lubu reservoir.

There is a Ganxi village at the foot of the Lubu reservoir, which was built in the 1950s. For the local people, the reservoir dam is the lifeline. The dam is majestic. According to the old saying "soldiers come to block the dam, water comes to cover the earth", the second largest reservoir in Yuyao City, which is second only to Siming lake reservoir, has amazing earthwork. Due to bumps and other reasons, the dam was not officially completed until the end of 1970s. In the 21st century, there is still a phenomenon of dam seepage. After 100 million yuan of investment in reinforcement, Lubu reservoir continues to play its role safely and steadily.

There are two water sources in Lubu reservoir, and there are two roads leading to Lishan from the east to the West. Yuanhu road in the west is still very busy, but there are no less than 20 bends in less than two kilometers of road. It's inconvenient to drive. It's not so wise to walk. From the dam, we choose the east edge lake road, which has been abandoned for more than ten years. Let's call it the east edge road of Lubu reservoir. Although there is no traffic, the road three meters wide is still very spacious, but shrubs and weeds are growing up, which is about to submerge the road. I'm used to seeing the world in the west, and the scenery in the East makes my eyes bright. The jiaoshui Lake in the East has the artistic conception of Lixi lake, which is quite different from that of waixi Lake in the West. Walking on this route, I feel quiet and comfortable, surprised by the unexpected harvest of nature, and calm as a peach blossom land. The wooden boat is rippling and the bamboo sea is rippling. After walking through a very small temple, I saw the portrait of Guan Gong and Qin Qiong, the door god. After a small bend, I arrived at Zhengjia village.
