It is a valuable cultural heritage with high historical and artistic value. Construction situation
The original temple takes Dacheng hall as the center, and its north-south axis is symmetrical. There are Wanren palace wall, kuilou, lingxingmen, panchi, Panqiao, Jimen, Minghuan temple, Xiangxian temple, Dacheng hall, Minglun hall and Zunjing Pavilion in the north and south. On the east side are Xing Xian Fang, Wen Chang Ge, Xun Xun Zhai, Jin De Zhai, Chong Sheng Temple, etc. on the west side are Yu Cai Fang, Sheng Ji Suo, Xiu Ye Zhai, Jing Yi Ting, shepu Ting, etc. And there are many East and West corridors. However, in the history of more than 700 years ago, the buildings were trampled by the soldiers and bandits, repaired and destroyed repeatedly, and the scale of the buildings was gradually reduced. It was not until the reign of Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty that it was revived and rebuilt as before. However, since then, more buildings have been destroyed than repaired. In the early 1980s, only the dilapidated Dacheng hall and Chongsheng temple were left.

Construction history
In 1990, Taihe County Party committee and government began to overhaul the Dacheng Hall of Confucian temple. In 1992, the first phase of the Confucian temple restoration project was completed and accepted. The gate, panchi, Panchiao, platform and Dacheng hall were newly built and restored. Dacheng hall is a palace style building with single eaves, five broad Ying, three deep rooms, yellow glazed tiles, spacious and bright inside. It is carved with a white marble statue of Confucius, on which many plaques are hung, such as "a model for all generations", "a gentleman in this world", "demou heaven and earth" and "Tao runs through the past and the present". The gold pillars are respectively hung with couplets such as "foreknowledge and foresight for the eternal moral standing", "sincerity and holiness with the two Gonghua flowing together", "Deguan people's retrospection to open the heaven and xianzun's first appearance", "Daolong group's saints worship Dacheng together". The platform in front of the hall, the fence board and the royal road are white marble carvings, and the royal road carvings are vivid. In 2009, the second stage restoration project of Confucian temple was completed and put into use gradually. The second phase of the project lasted for two years, with a total construction area of 2200 square meters. The county government invested more than 5.6 million yuan to build and repair the gate, panchi, Panchiao, Zunjing Pavilion, east-west wing room, corridor room, wall and West facade room. The ground was renovated and greening was carried out. The East-West corridor room was inlaid with steles of Taihe calligraphers, and the Dacheng hall and Zunjing Pavilion were painted with Confucius themed murals. The second phase of the Confucian temple project is organically integrated with the Confucian Temple Square and Taihe Park, which will have a positive impact on promoting traditional culture, witnessing history and promoting Taihe. In the history of Taihe, there are many scholars, which is inseparable from Taihe's long-term "respecting Confucianism and learning", and Confucian temple is an important carrier of Taihe's long history and culture. The protection of Taihe Confucian temple is of great significance to the transmission of traditional civilization. The cultural and historical connotation of Taihe Confucian temple will always show its infinite charm in the past, present and future.
