history
Sanqing pavilion was originally the summer resort of the king of Yuanliang. After the rise of Taoist temples, it gradually developed into a nine storey and eleven Pavilion built-in complex. If you climb up from Longmen Village under the cliff, look up at the winding stone steps of more than 1000 levels, and pass through the ancient cypresses into the clouds to get the Luohan cliff. Its terrain shape is really incredible. Because the Sanqing Pavilion is built on a precipice, it is built by hammering. The green trees stick to the wall to explore the sea, and the pavilions fight with each other. The Taoist fairy's castles in the air seem to be in front of us. It's really the so-called carved beams and painted buildings, which rise from the sky and face no land. Among these buildings, the most interesting one is "xiaoniuquan": it is said that once upon a time there lived a butcher at the foot of the mountain who would slaughter his cow. When he turned around, he was carried away by a calf and ran up the mountain with a butcher's knife. At "xiaoniuquan", he lay down with the knife under his body. When the butcher came to see such a scene, he couldn't help sighing and went home and released the cows together. Since then, the spring has been called "Xiaoniu spring".
There is a concluding couplet in the Sanqing Pavilion, which says: when you are in a high place, you have to raise your head. This is undoubtedly the philosophy of life, but it is also a true portrayal at this time.

Tips
Kunming Tourism complaint hotline: the best travel time in Ming Dynasty: Kunming has neither cold winter nor hot summer. It has the reputation of "Spring City" and belongs to temperate plateau humid monsoon climate. The annual average temperature in the urban area is about 15 ℃, the hottest monthly average temperature is only 19 ℃ - 22 ℃, and the coldest monthly average temperature is 6 ℃ - 8 ℃. Kunming has a big temperature difference in a day. In winter and spring, the daily temperature difference can reach 12-20 ℃. Don't forget to bring a sweater or coat when you go. The rainy season is mainly from May to October. As long as it rains, the temperature will drop. It's better to take a windbreaker. Kunming is suitable for tourism throughout the year. The best time to travel is from March to October. This is the time when Yunnan's ethnic minorities have the most festivals, fruits and flowers. Of course, the harvest of tourism is not small. It's a troublesome thing to ask for directions in Kunming. Most of the people in Kunming speak dialects, so it's difficult to communicate with each other. Moreover, there are many foreigners in Kunming who don't know Kunming very well. However, if you ask young people in Kunming, they are very warm and friendly, and they will take the trouble to explain. Kunming's early bus leaves late, which is also very inconvenient for foreign tourists. However, the people in this city are very leisurely, so they don't have to be so anxious to come here, so it's better to be leisurely.
