Taoist peak

Daoren peak is located at the northern end of Huangshan Mountain, between Wulao peak and ZUIWENG peak. It is one of the 36 small peaks with an altitude of 988 meters.

It is said that once upon a time, there was a magistrate named Hu aijiu in Taiping County. He was originally the censor of Dongtai in the central court. Because he offended the emperor by giving advice, he was demoted to Taiping County as a seven grade official. Because of his dissatisfaction with the imperial court, he was bored and didn't care about politics. One day I came to huangnijian, met an old Taoist and made friends with him. After that, I came here every day to drink wine, write poems and play chess with him. The old Taoist who played chess with the magistrate of Hu County lived in the Taoist temple of this peak. Later generations called this peak "Taoist peak".
