Redords of the Grand History of China
Historical records: Yunmen peak ("scissors peak") is located in the southwest of Huangshan, south of Shizhu peak, adjacent to Yunji peak and Fuqiu peak. It is one of the 36 peaks of Huangshan, with an altitude of 1645 meters. The cliff of this peak is separated like a door. It works relatively and goes high into the sky. Only clouds can pass through it, so it is named "Yunmen peak". At the same time, because of the confrontation between the two walls, it looks like an open scissors, which is also named "scissors peak". Xie Zhao, a man of Changle, Fujian Province in the Ming Dynasty, a writer and a former right political envoy of Guangxi, wrote a poem: "the cold current is vast, the grass is covered with velvet, and the green wall is covered with red terraces. Tianwai Cloud Gate relative out, residents refers to scissors peak In the Ming Dynasty, there was also a poem in longying, which said: "the lotus in the thousand tent is shining in the blue sky, and the two peaks stand on the wall, breaking the rainbow.". Only the white crane can fly in, and directly connect the star river. " On the peak, there are "Li Man stone", "lions and tigers competing for food" and other wonders. Under the peak, there are yunmenyuan and yunmenxi. Water flows out from the "gate" and goes southeast. As both sides of the scissor peak are cliffs more than 100 meters long, no one has explored the area so far, and the local pharmaceutical farmers are sighing. Li Dongyang, a poet, calligrapher and statesman of the Ming Dynasty (1447-1516 AD), wrote a poem in which he chanted the style of sending Cheng Taishou to Huangshan Mountain, saying: "to cherish your monarch is to guard in the clouds, and to return to Huangshan Mountain is still to lie in the clouds. If you want to borrow the scissors peak, you can cut half and divide equally. "
