Caohejing Development Zone Park

Caohejing Development Zone Park is located in Caohejing emerging technology development zone, Shanghai, with Yishan Road in the north, Tianlin road in the South and Guiguo road in the west, covering an area of 4.4 hectares. The park was designed by Shanghai Landscape Design Institute. It was started in March 1998 and completed in December 1998. The garden adopts the modern landscape design concept, follows the principle of local conditions, carries out the layout of scenic spots, digs lakes, piles mountains, and shapes the terrain, so as to make it a new type of garden with ecological garden idea, strong artistic appreciation, rich plant landscape, and reasonable spatial layout. There are 111 kinds of plants in the garden.

General layout

The overall layout of Caohejing Development Zone Park is a central axis running through the north and south. The main entrance of the middle part is the Art Square, which adopts the sinking structure. There is an artificial lake on the south side of the Art Square, with the novel teahouse and the curved bridge reconstructed from the original small bridge as the scenery. Willows are planted by the lake, and the willows enter the water. In the lake, all kinds of fish are raised. When the breeze blows, willow catkins float into the water, and enjoy themselves with the dancing fish, forming a picture of stillness in motion and movement in stillness.

To the north of the Art Square is the music square. The square is surrounded by exhibition hall and Lingxiao flower rack. The lawn, floor and music create a complete space. There is a performance platform in front of the exhibition hall, which is used for artistic performance and provides space for tourists to enjoy art. In addition, in the north side of the music square, the earth excavated from the lake is used to pile up a certain height of hillside, which makes the whole park form the undulating terrain of high in the north and low in the south, so as to create a sense of wholeness, and also provides good conditions for plant landscaping.

The main entrance of the park on the south side of the Art Square is divided into three parts by the road. Magnolia grandiflora is planted in the East, Ophiopogon japonicus and Euonymus japonicus are planted in the bottom, and the trees, shrubs and ground covers are well arranged. In the west, shrubs and ground covers are the main scenery. In the middle, there is a flower bed with various trees and shrubs as the background. In the flower bed, all kinds of flowers are planted according to different seasons, and the scenery is pleasant all year round.

Caohejing Development Zone Park also has tennis courts and mini golf courses, providing a good place for people who love sports.
