Monument to the victory of the United Anti Japanese War
The magnificent monument to the victory of the national unity and anti Japanese war in Oroqen is located at the foot of the west mountain of Alihe town surrounded by mountains.
On the front of the monument, there are nine big characters of "monument to the victory of the United Anti Japanese War" inscribed by Chen Lei. On the back of the monument, there are "inscriptions" of the process of the United Anti Japanese war between the Oroqen people and the Chinese people's Liberation Army. The body of the monument is composed of white marble, with a rectangular sub monument inlaid with relief of the Oroqen people's Anti Japanese war. The monument is built to commemorate the heroic deeds of the Oroqen tribal leader Gai Shan, who was hunting in the dense forest of the Great Xing'an Mountains after the September 18th Incident in 1931, and Wang Minggui and Chen Lei, leaders of the three branches of the Northeast Anti Japanese coalition army, who fought side by side to save the country and protect their families.
The completion of the monument will play an important role in remembering the great patriotism and noble national integrity of the revolutionary martyrs, encouraging future generations to complete the unfinished cause of the martyrs, not forgetting history and inheriting future generations.
