Taichang Temple of Wudang
In the north of Zhanqi peak, on the steep mountain behind Nanyan, the altitude is 1047.8 meters. There were buildings in Yuan Dynasty. In 1418, the emperor Xuandi hall, Zhaitang and Daofang were rebuilt. Later there were repairs and additions. There are 12 main halls, auxiliary rooms and mountain gates, with a construction area of 393 square meters and an area of 5000 square meters. The buildings are symmetrically arranged along the central axis and built according to the mountain. The main hall is of brick and wood structure, with hard hilltop, beam lifting wooden frame, small green tile roof, corridor in front and eaves in back. It is 20.85 meters wide, 7.62 meters deep and 7.2 meters high. All kinds of images made in Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty are listed in the hall.
