Yintiaoling Nature Reserve

Yintiaoling nature reserve is a national nature reserve. It is the remnant of Shennongjia primeval forest, covering an area of 120000 mu, including 87000 mu of primeval forest with an average altitude of 1900m. It is the only primeval forest in Chongqing. The main peak of yintiaoling is 2796.8m above sea level, which is the highest point in Chongqing, known as "the first peak in Chongqing".

geographical environment

Yintiaoling nature reserve is a part of Shennongjia primeval forest extending to Chongqing. It belongs to Qinling mountain system, connecting Daba Mountain in the East and Wushan mountain in the south. From the top of the mountain to the foot of the mountain, there is a great difference in the relative height. The temperature and vegetation are very distinct. It's really a ten mile day. With an average altitude of 1900 meters, it has the only virgin forest and pollution-free Alpine Grassland in Chongqing. The main peak of yintiaoling is 2796.8 meters above sea level, which is the highest point in Chongqing and is known as "the first peak in Chongqing". The reserve covers an area of more than 450000 mu, with a forest coverage rate of 90.71%. It governs 13 villages in three townships of Shuangyang, Tongcheng and Lanying.

There are more than 1500 species of plants in the nature reserve, including a variety of representative ecosystems, and a large number of rare and endangered species, including 15 species of national first-class protected plants such as Ginkgo biloba, Davidia involucrata, Chimonanthus praecox, Sabina vulgaris and Taxus chinensis, which are rare "natural species gene pool".

"A pearl on the top of the head", "a flower with seven leaves", "a pen by King Wen", "a bowl of water by the river" and other exotic flowers and plants can be seen everywhere. More than 300 kinds of rare birds and animals, such as golden eagles, white bears, white foxes, leopards and red pandas, which are under special state protection, can be found in the forest.

Main peak scenic spot

Yintiaoling main peak scenic spot, located in the east of Wuxi, close to Shennongjia, is the only primeval forest in Chongqing, covering an area of 120000 mu. The main peak towering, straight into the blue sky and white clouds, proud to become the highest peak in Chongqing.

Daguanshan

Daguan mountain belongs to the experimental area of yintiaoling nature reserve, close to Shennongjia virgin forest, covering an area of 180000 mu, including 100000 mu of primary secondary forest and 10000 mu of natural grassland. The coverage rate of forest and grass is more than 90%, and the altitude is 1600-2500 meters. Daguan mountain is located on the plateau of high mountain, and the shallow hills in the area are scattered, so it is called "Oriental Tianshan". Mountain vertical landscape is unique, rich in animal and plant resources, towering ancient trees. It is famous for growing Fritillaria, Gastrodia elata and other precious medicinal materials, and is one of the famous "five medicinal mountains" in history.

Lan Ying Zhai

Lanying village in yintiaoling area was built here by Ji Lanying, Xue Gang's wife, when Xue Gang rebelled against Tang Dynasty, so it was named Lanying village. After more than 1300 years of wind and rain, mataoshi in the village site is still intact.

The scenery of Lanying village is dominated by primeval forests, and occasionally there are several grasslands. Yintiaoling area with Lanying village as the core was formerly known as Jiuyan mountain. Xue Gang's anti Tang said that "Jiuyan mountain is extremely dangerous, surrounded by nine mountains, with a flat land of more than 100 Li".

Tourism information

There are only buses and no trains from Chongqing to Wuxi. Take the long-distance bus to Wuxi first. There are six buses to Wuxi every day at longtousi long-distance bus station, which takes six hours. The price is 148 yuan (74 yuan for children). Or take the high-speed rail to Wanzhou, and then change to a bus. The price of high-speed rail is 98 yuan, and that of bus is 85 yuan. This is the best route. Or take a speedboat to Fengjie, and then take a car for 1 hour to Wuxi.

Stories and legends

It is said that Ji Lanying, the wife of Xue gang in the Tang Dynasty, looked at the sufferings of the common people, so she acted for heaven to rob the rich and help the poor. She set up a mountain stronghold on yintiaoling and connected a large number of poor people to the mountains and lived in seclusion in the forest. The industrious and virtuous lady of the stronghold leader also made very good pickles, but later, because of the war, people buried her pickle jar in the ground until today.
