The Three Gorges river closure Memorial Park is the first water conservancy project theme park in China with the theme of river closure of the Three Gorges project, integrating sightseeing, science popularization, performance, leisure and other functions.

Located 800 meters downstream of the right bank of the Three Gorges Dam, the scenic spot covers an area of 930000 square meters with an investment of 30 million yuan. The scenic area is divided into four areas: entrance area, performing arts viewing area, site exhibition area and recreation area. It is composed of more than ten landscapes, such as river closure wall, performing arts square, hydrophilic platform, phantom imaging, large-scale machinery exhibition field, climbing tetrahedron, flat throwing boat and so on. In the landscape design of the whole park, the theme of river closure is closely linked, and the distinctive image features of the Yangtze River, dam and project are displayed, so as to create the unique heritage landscape effect of water conservancy project. As far as possible, the remaining engineering materials and objects on the original site are retained, the partition wall used to support the stacking of sand and gravel, the remaining tetrahedron during more than 100 river closure are retained, and large construction machinery such as 77 ton loading and unloading trucks and flat throwing boats are displayed.

"River closure reappearance" projection hall adopts modern high-tech phantom imaging technology to visually and vividly reappear the river closure of the Three Gorges. Tourists witness these as if they are in the hot construction scene.
