China court Museum
China court museum was built in February 2008. The new museum is located at No.4 Zhengyi Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing, with a construction area of more than 3000 square meters. It is a national key cultural relics protection unit.
The Chinese court Museum has three basic exhibition halls, six special exhibition halls, three interactive areas for Legal Popularization, and a legal film and television screening hall. The first exhibition hall is the Chinese trial history exhibition, which reviews the development of ancient Chinese judicial civilization; the second exhibition hall is the people's trial history exhibition, which shows the achievements of people's court construction and trial work; the third exhibition hall is the theme exhibition of "comprehensively ruling the country according to law, moving towards great rejuvenation", which comprehensively shows the people's trial work since the 18th CPC National Congress. The special exhibition hall includes six exhibition halls, namely "exhibition of treasures of ancient legal books", "justice trial of Japanese war criminals", "a glimpse of the regional courts of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan", "a glimpse of foreign courts and international courts", "dongjiaomin lane with vicissitudes of life" and "the supreme judicial organ of ancient China". The interactive area of Legal Popularization includes "mock court", "Knowledge Q & a platform" and "Legal Popularization activity classroom". The legal film and television projection hall is a collection of film and television works related to Chinese and foreign legal systems.
On January 6, 2016, China court Museum officially opened.
On October 30, 2018, the State Administration of cultural relics and the Supreme People's court held a transfer of allocated cultural relics in the Chinese court Museum. Six bronze wares of Shang and Zhou dynasties confiscated by public security organs were allocated to the Chinese court Museum as permanent collections.

In order to objectively, truly and comprehensively reproduce the history of the development of China's legal system and show the outstanding contributions of the people's court in the great process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics, the Supreme People's court decided to establish the China court Museum on the basis of restoring two judicial sites and sites. The preparatory work was officially launched in July 2007.

On September 27, 2007, China held a national forum on the collection of judicial historical materials for courts in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province. Vice president Cao Jianming mobilized and deployed the collection of judicial historical materials for courts across the country, and the collection of judicial historical materials was widely carried out throughout the country.
On December 24, 2007, the exhibition of judicial historical materials began to take shape, and the system framework has basically taken shape. According to the historical development context, the preview of judicial historical materials is divided into 13 parts: the first part "light of the pioneers" focuses on the ancient and modern legal culture and judicial system; the second part "red memory" to the fourth part "tortuous development", introduces the people's judicial work from the period of the Agrarian Revolutionary War to the period before and after the "Cultural Revolution"; the fifth part "spring of legal system" 》This paper introduces the criminal, civil and administrative judicial work of the people's court since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China; the sixth part "military trial" introduces the development process of military judicial work; the seventh part to the twelfth part introduces the court from the perspectives of court construction, justice for the people, judicial reform, courts of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan, friendly exchanges, cordial care and so on The thirteenth part focuses on the successive presidents of the Supreme People's court and the first presidents of the higher people's courts.

In September 2013, the Chinese court Museum closed and started the site selection of the new museum.
On June 4, 2014, the sixth president's office meeting of the Supreme People's court in 2014 decided to officially start the preparatory work for the construction of the new museum of the Chinese court.
On June 25, 2014, Shen Deyong, executive vice president, presided over the first coordination meeting for the preparation of the new museum of the Chinese court of justice to coordinate the division of labor among various departments. On July 31, the general office of the Supreme People's Court issued the work division plan for the preparation of the new China court Museum.

On January 9, 2015, executive vice president Shen Deyong discussed with the leaders of the State Administration of cultural relics and Beijing Municipal Bureau of cultural relics on the preparation of the museum.

On July 31, 2015, the 7th president's office meeting of the Supreme People's court in 2015 deliberated and approved the exhibition design scheme of China court Museum.
On September 11, 2015, executive vice president Shen Deyong and vice president he Rong presided over a coordination meeting on the preparation of the new museum to study and deploy the construction of the Chinese court Museum.
On September 25, 2015, the leaders of the Court deliberated and approved the detailed design scheme of China court Museum.
On October 21, 2015, the bidding result of the exhibition project of China court museum was announced, and Beijing Qingshang Architectural Decoration Engineering Co., Ltd. won the bid.

The new Chinese court museum is located in the former Japanese Zhengjin bank building, No.4 Zhengyi Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing, covering an area of more than 3000 square meters and an open area of about 1600 square meters. There are three basic exhibition halls and six special exhibition halls, as well as three interactive areas for Legal Popularization and a legal film and television screening hall.

Temporary museum
The temporary site of the Chinese court museum is more than 600 square meters. It is divided into two exhibition halls, displaying more than 1500 pieces of cultural relics, documents and pictures. As an important part of the museum, the exhibition of judicial historical materials has wide coverage and distinctive features. From gaotao, the earliest written judgment in Chinese history, the bronze ware of the late Western Zhou Dynasty, the first Yamen in Jiangnan, Fuliang County Yamen, to the first court of Chinese revolution, the provisional Supreme Court and the Supreme Court, and then to the Supreme People's court, the historical context is clear and basically meaningful It covers 5000 years of judicial civilization in China, and represents the historical evolution of judicial institutions and the continuous advancement of the work of the people's court. In addition to a large number of precious pictures, the China court museum also displays many valuable cultural relics, such as the first national emblem used by the Supreme People's court at the beginning of the people's Republic of China, the seal of the branch of the Supreme People's court, the notice of pardoning the puppet Manchuria emperor Puyi, the famous seal used by Jiang Hua, Wu Xiuquan, Zeng Hanzhou in the trial of Lin Biao and Jiang Qing's counter revolutionary group, and the Supreme People's court The plaque of the first instance of the special court.
