Xijindu historical and cultural district is an administrative district located in the northwest of Zhenjiang City, Jiangsu Province. The district is adjacent to the Yangtze River in the north, Yuntai Mountain in the South and Yushan Mountain in the West. Its central axis is 1800 meters and its planning area is about 52 hectares.

Introduction to the block

Xijindu historic district is divided into: Old Wharf Cultural Park, small wharf folk historical and Cultural District, commercial pedestrian street around Yuntai Mountain, Yuntai Mountain Scenic Area, Boxian Park and Zhenjiang Museum. The old wharf Cultural Park starts from Yingjiang road in the East, xijindu street in the west, Yuntai Mountain in the South and Changjiang Road in the north, covering an area of about 3.4 hectares. There are some concession buildings, such as the former Asiatic oil company, the residence of the tax department, the patrol house of the Ministry of industry, and about 20000 square meters of modern industrial buildings. There are many well-known catering and entertainment businesses, such as Zhenjiang restaurant, Zhenjiang guogaimian tasting hall, bafensatin, Xijin guild hall, fashion western restaurant, Spanish restaurant, Yashi Hotel, Qingshuiwan hot spring club, old wharf restaurant, Duke Inn, xiaoshanlou International Youth Hostel, filter factory, ziyuelou, Sanyou hall, etc. There are 2 national level cultural security units and 14 provincial and municipal level cultural security units in the block.
