Xucun
The history of Xucun can be traced back to the Ming Dynasty. In the second year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty (1369 AD), there is a village called lugezhuang, 10 kilometers northwest of Jiaozhou City. Xu's four brothers moved from Yunnan. One of them settled in lugezhuang village. The other three brothers went to Boli in Jiaonan City, Xiazhuang in Gaomi City, and Pingdu City (the specific address is unknown). The clan leader of lugezhuang read his fate and allowed him to set up a new village, named Xujia village after his surname. In September 1980, it was renamed Xu village.
Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, the houses in the village were all low Adobe cottages, and the streets in the village were potholes. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, especially since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the houses of the villagers have been greatly improved. The village committee has also made a unified planning in time, so that the houses are arranged in order, the streets are spacious and flat, both sides are green, the roads are clean, and the drainage is unobstructed. With the continuous improvement of the economy, public health rooms, kindergartens, offices of the two village committees, population schools, family planning offices, etc. have been built. All kinds of indoor facilities are complete, and villagers' learning (such as learning scientific farming knowledge) is also carried out in relevant rooms.
