Founded in 2005, Beijing hebixing ceramic art museum is jointly organized by professionals from China's ceramic producing areas. It specializes in artistic ceramics and fine daily-use ceramics. Highlights of the exhibition: through the wonderful works of designers and teapot artists, the exhibition presents the art design and craft quality of Zisha, talks with connoisseurs and the market, sees things and people, and hopes to promote and deepen the communication between teapot artists and connoisseurs, taste and shape the theory and interest of Zisha teapot Art in the development of tea culture through the exhibition platform. Among them, Longquan celadon pot, the smallest in the world, is only the size of a thumb, with a length of 2 cm and a height of 1.8 cm. Classification of ceramics
1. Concept of ceramics
In the traditional sense, ceramics refer to all kinds of products made from clay as the main raw material and other natural minerals through crushing, mixing, forming, calcining and other processes. The broad concept of ceramics is a general term for inorganic non-metallic solid materials (belonging to SiO2) and products made by ceramic production methods.
2. Classification of ceramics
According to the concept and use of ceramics, it can be divided into ordinary ceramics and special ceramics; according to the physical properties of the body, it can be divided into pottery and porcelain. Generally, the body of pottery is loose in structure, poor in density, and has a certain water absorption rate. The body of porcelain is dense, basically not water absorption, and has a certain translucency; according to the composition of raw materials and technology of ceramic products, it can be divided into pottery and porcelain Stoneware and stoneware.
3. The difference between pottery and porcelain
1) The body material of pottery is ordinary clay, while the body material of porcelain is porcelain clay.
