1. Concept of ceramics

In the traditional sense, ceramics refer to all kinds of products made from clay as the main raw material and other natural minerals through crushing, mixing, forming, calcining and other processes. The broad concept of ceramics is a general term for inorganic non-metallic solid materials (belonging to SiO2) and products made by ceramic production methods.

2. Classification of ceramics

According to the concept and use of ceramics, it can be divided into ordinary ceramics and special ceramics; according to the physical properties of the body, it can be divided into pottery and porcelain.
