Fengcai hall is a product of cultural exchange between Chinese and Western architecture. It was built in 1906 and completed in 1914. Yu Jing (from 1000 to 1064, born in Shaozhou (now Shaoguan, Guangdong Province), was a famous Minister of the Song Dynasty. He was a Jinshi in the second year of Tiansheng, and the first name in the eighth year of Tiansheng. In the fourth year of Jingyou's reign, Fan Zhongyan was demoted for his remonstrance and rescue. He was called "four sages" together with Fan Zhongyan, Ouyang Xiu and Yin Zhu. Later, he was reinstated and moved to youzhengyan. Together with Ouyang Xiu, Cai Xiang and Wang Su, he was called "Qingli four remonstrations" and was an important member of "Qingli New Deal". He once made three envoys to Khitan and successfully convinced Khitan to reconcile with the Song court. In the fourth year of emperor you's reign, he worked with di Qing and sun Mian to pacify the nongzhigao rebellion in Guangnan road. After pacifying the rebellion, he left Guangxi alone to do the post-war rehabilitation work, such as searching and arresting the rebellion party and restoring production after the war. He successively served as governor of Tanzhou and Qingzhou. In the fifth year of Jiayou reign, Jiaozhi (today's Vietnam) invaded the border and disturbed the people. The imperial court thought that Yu Jing "trusted Jiaozhi because he was outside the mountains, and ordered him to pacify Guangxi and lead the soldiers to pacify the chaos. Yu Jing ordered Jiaozhi to send an envoy to seek peace without a single soldier, and then left him as the governor of Guangzhou, as well as the economic strategy envoy, pacifying envoy, and Shi boating envoy of Guangdong, making great contributions to the peace and stability of the south. Yu Jing has been an official for more than 40 years. He was demoted twice and reappeared three times. He successively served as Ganxian Wei of Qianzhou, Xuanzhou manager joining the army, zhihongzhou Xinjian County, Secretary Cheng, Jixian Xiaoli, youzhengyan and zhizhigao. He also served as the chief military officer in Guizhou, Tanzhou, Qingzhou, Guangzhou and other places. After his death, he was presented to the Minister of the Ministry of punishment, posthumously named "Xiang", and later generations respected him as "Zhongxiang Gong". Cai Xiang, a good friend and colleague of Yu Jing and a famous calligrapher, once wrote a poem in praise of "there is always advice to help the emperor, but also teaching style to move the court". Song Renzong also wrote a personal title of "style is the first, Guangnan is in chaos, and management is unique." Yu Jing's descendants took Fengcai hall as their family name to commemorate the great achievements of their ancestors.

1、 Shaoguan Yujing Memorial Hall: also known as Yu Zhongxiang ancestral hall and Fengcai hall, it is a provincial protected cultural relic. It is located in Yuxiang lane, Jianguo Road, Shaoguan City. It was originally the ancestral residence of several generations of Yu Jing's ancestors. Later generations rebuilt it into a ancestral hall to worship Yu Jing. By the 1980s, the ancestral hall had been changed into a folk house for historical reasons. Yu's clan association in Hong Kong spent a lot of money to buy back the original site and rebuild it Yujing Memorial Hall. Yujing memorial building is a duplex building with the characteristics of Lingnan ancient dwellings, with a total construction area of 273 square meters. It has one hall, five rooms, two entrances and three doors, and high-rise buildings. The main building is 19.8 meters high. It is built on the top floor of the ancestral hall. It is dignified, elegant and unique. On the west side of Fengcai hall stands a well carved marble monument Yu Jing Memorial Hall: on the left side is engraved with the memorial tablet of Yu Jing God presented by song and Ouyang Xiu; on the right side is engraved with the Fu Lue of Yu Zhong Xianggong. In the hall of elegant demeanor, there is a magnificent "elegant demeanor Liufang Pavilion", in which sits a lifelike wood sculpture of Yu Jing. It is said that the design of this statue is based on the real statue of Xianggong, a famous sage in Yu's genealogy. The original statue is embroidered with yellow silk from the palace. It was once stored in the elegant building of Shaoguan City and collected by the provincial cultural relics team in the 1960s. The newly built Yu Zhongxiang ancestral hall has restored the ancient archway of Yu's ancestral hall, and the archway building is simple and magnificent. Shaoguan still has Yu Jing's tomb, Fengcai building and other provincial protected cultural relics in memory of Yu Jing.
2、 Dihai Fengcai hall, also known as Xianyu Zhongxiang ancestral hall, is a provincial protected cultural relic. It is located in Fengcai Middle School of Kaiping City, Guangdong Province. It was built in 1906 and completed in 1914. It was built by Yu family members in Kaiping and Taishan to commemorate their ancestor Yu Jing. It is composed of two main buildings: Fengcai hall and Fengcai building. It has three entrances, six courtyards and fifteen halls, with a total of 15 halls It covers an area of 5364 square meters. 3、 Xinhui style hall: located in Xinhui No.1 middle school, Xinhui District, Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province, it is now the library of Xinhui No.1 middle school. The old ancestral hall of Yu Zhongxiang, built in the late Ming Dynasty and dedicated to Yu Jing, was demolished and rebuilt by the Yu family. It was designed by Yu Qingjiang from Dihai (now Kaiping), Taishan. The foundation was laid in 1934 and completed in 26. With brick, stone, concrete antique structure, Xie hilltop, double eaves. The plane structure consists of 12 columns and 3 depths. It is placed on a 1.4-meter-high stone platform, and the ceiling is decorated with ethnic patterns, with a total area of 352 square meters.
