Dabei temple is a Fancha temple which was expanded by master Huishen in 1992 on the east side of zhantanlin, a national key temple. It has a unique architectural style and is majestic. It houses a 9.19-meter Bodhisattva with thousands of hands and eyes.
On August 6, 1993, the ribbon was cut on the main beam of the Dabei building. As soon as the main beam was placed, it began to rain heavily. This happened to deal with the old saying "wannianliang", which is a good omen.
In the middle of the hall is Avalokitesvara with thousands of hands and eyes. It is eight feet and nine inches high. Around it are 84 statues of great compassion, 32 Yingshen statues and six statues of Zen patriarchs. In front of the hall is the double nine dragon wall of the Bodhisattva tower. It is carved with white marble. It is a must for pilgrims. It is the lotus throne of Dali. It has a kind face. It is surrounded by marble columns and railings, and above it is carved with dragons and phoenixes.
Da Bei Dian
Dabei hall is a temple located in Siming South Road, Siming District. It was built in the early Qing Dynasty and worships Guanyin.
Introduction to scenic spots
Built in the early Qing Dynasty, it was burned by fire. It was rebuilt by Taixu monk in 1930 and rebuilt in 1962. Guanyin is worshipped in the great mercy hall, and the other three sides are 48 arm Guanyin. Dabei hall is an octagonal triple cornice, which is made of bucket arches. The caisson in the hall is made of wood bucket arches instead of iron nails.
