Tianzhuyan Temple
Tianzhuyan temple is located in Xianyue mountain, north of lianyue Road, Huli District, Xiamen city. It belongs to Heshan Xianyue society. Yanyu was built in the last years of Kangxi reign (1712-1722) of Qing Dynasty. Because of the isolated mountains, hidden mountains and few people, its destruction and inheritance are unknown. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, the monks of Nanshan Temple in Zhangzhou turned to master MI and Hung Tin here. They managed with coolie, rebuilt with Jiugong, and persisted in farming and Zen. In the early 1930s, master Shanlin, the abbot of Miaoshi temple, rebuilt and expanded the hall squatters, covering an area of more than 300 square meters. After master Shanlin returned to the west, his disciple master Zhengming inherited the mantle. On the eve of the victory of the Anti Japanese War, the rock temple was destroyed and razed to ruins.
In 1998, tianzhuyan temple was rebuilt with the approval of the municipal government. Shi Mingde, a monk of Nanputuo temple, presides over the work of the Buddhist dojo. The temple is designed according to the traditional Chinese temple. It pays attention to the corresponding axis. The architectural group takes yellow walls and yellow tiles as the keynote, which is the traditional southern Fujian style. With the support of the ten good people, the fanyulin palace has begun to take shape, and the existing Dharma hall, the north and South arhat hall, the bell and Drum Tower, the ancestral hall, and the Guan Gong hall have been completed.
