Huli District Library

Huli District Library is a public library sponsored by Huli district government, which was established independently in 2004. In February 2010, it became one of the first pilot units of "county Digital Library Promotion Plan" in China.

In December 2017, the library moved to the former elderly activity center at 292 Heshan Road, Huli District on December 1, 2017

Structure of the Museum

The library is located on the first to second floors of the cultural center building in Huli district. With an area of 3000 square meters, the library has a book lending room, a newspaper and magazine reading room, a cartoon reading room, a children's library, an electronic reading room, a special collection room, a reading room for the blind, a training and guidance room, a self-study room for readers, a shared engineering video screening hall, and 530 reading seats. In addition, there are community and army Book flow points.

In December 2017, the library moved to the old age activity center (next to Chenggong Hotel) at 292 Heshan Road, Huli District on December 1, 2017, and the opening time remained unchanged

Collection books

At present, the library has a collection of 140000 books, including new book counter, children's book counter, Taiwan edition book counter, periodical bound book counter, literature, natural science and social science book shelf, and more than 500 kinds of newspapers and magazines in newspaper reading room and children's reading room. The E-reading room is equipped with 45 computers. It is the district level sub center of the national cultural information resource sharing project and the information disclosure inquiry point of Huli district government. It provides multimedia information services for the masses. At the same time, it is also one of the Xiamen community learning centers, providing free computer basic knowledge popularization training for the community masses for a long time. The library uses computer management to manage all kinds of work, and provides readers with online renewal, online inquiry of books, online certificate and other services through the Internet. The library has joined the "Xiamen Public Library Service Consortium" and adopted the "all in one card" system for book borrowing, implementing the "all in one return and all in one borrowing" system of all libraries in the city.

Service Items

The library provides the following services for the masses:

1. Free reading of newspapers and magazines:

Readers do not have to go through any procedures to enter the library and the reading room to read newspapers, magazines and all kinds of books.

2. Free book borrowing:

Readers can borrow books for free with documentary evidence. (with social security card and deposit or temporary social security card and deposit, the library card function can be opened.)

3. Free study room:

As long as the self-study readers abide by the library management system, they can bring their own books to study in the self-study room.

4. Free computer training:

"Free computer basic knowledge training class" has been held throughout the year, giving priority to providing free training for the majority of migrant workers, community laid-off workers, disabled people and other vulnerable groups in our district. People from all walks of life who are interested in computer knowledge and animation knowledge are welcome to sign up for the study. The opening time of each training course depends on the application situation.

5. Free internet access:

The E-reading room of the library provides readers with free access to the Internet to inquire and share the cultural information resources of the project and the public information of the government.

6. Free video:

The program and movie of sharing project culture information will be broadcast in the video screening hall every week.

7. Annual Reader Activities:

The library holds all kinds of holiday public welfare summer camp, holiday entertainment, animation series free training, lectures, exhibitions, competitions and other activities throughout the year, constantly enriching the leisure and extracurricular life of readers and teenagers.
