Qihelou

Qihelou

Qihelou is located at No. 66, Zhuquan street, Yilong Town, Shiping County, Yunnan Province. Entrepreneur Chen heting was built as a single building in 1923. Facing south, it has a width of 31 meters and a depth of 12 meters. There are four floors in total. The bottom floor is equipped with passageways, and bricks and stones form arches. The second to fourth floors are surrounded by corridors and guardrails. There are window lattice on the north and south sides, and four eaves gather spires.

The scenic spot is located in Shiping No.1 middle school, No.66, Zhuquan street, Yilong Town, Shiping County. It was built in 1923 and faces south. It is composed of zhundige, Sanfo hall, stone arch bridge, spray pearl pool, Qihe tower, second gate, main gate, wing room and stele Pavilion. It covers an area of 29805 square meters and a building area of 13982 square meters.

Construction scale

Qihe tower is built for the great contribution of Chen heting, a famous scholar of Shiping school, to local education. The building is a peak building with four eaves, 21 meters high. The eaves column is straight from the first floor to the purlin of the second floor, and the column base is bluestone with square plain surface. There is a corridor on the second floor. The third floor has eight windows. The windows are round lattice windows. The roof is octagonal and the roof is paved with green tiles. There are three Aquarius on the top. Its architectural scale is unique, magnificent, rigorous structure and exquisite workmanship. It has the style of Chinese traditional classical architectural art and Western architectural art at the same time. It has formed a unique historical and cultural features, which is a rare excellent work in the architecture of Southern Yunnan.

Qihe tower is a building with four eaves at the top of the mountain, and its roof is octagonal pavilion. The eaves and brackets of the whole building are exquisite in workmanship, rigorous in structure, magnificent and magnificent. It also has the style of traditional Chinese classical architecture and Western architecture.

Cultural relics protection

On October 12, 1991, it was announced as the second batch of cultural relics protection units at the county level.

On February 19, 2003, it was announced as the fourth batch of cultural relics protection units at the state level.

On December 18, 2003, it was announced as the Sixth Batch of cultural relics protection units in Yunnan Province.

On May 25, 2006, it was announced as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
