Development history
Han princess. History: in the early Western Han Dynasty, the northern Xiongnu continued to invade the border counties of the Han Dynasty. Wusun Kingdom, which was active in today's Ili River Basin, was the most powerful among the western regions. In order to unite with Wusun to fight against the Xiongnu, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty Liu Che granted Xijun, daughter of Jiangdu king, as a princess and married Wusun King (kunmo) to hunt arrogantly. Princess Xijun became the first Han princess to marry in the western regions in the history of the silk road. At the same time, she introduced the advanced agricultural culture, metal smelting and construction technology into Wusun, which promoted Wusun's economic development. After the death of Princess Xijun, Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty once again granted the granddaughter of King Liu Wu of Chu the right to marry Wusun king junxumi. Princess Jieyou was active in Wusun's political arena with her outstanding talents, which promoted the political, military and cultural exchanges and cooperation between the Han Dynasty and the western regions, strengthened the relationship between the Han Dynasty and the western regions, and finally led to the establishment of the western regions capital in 60 BC. The alliance relationship between Han Dynasty and western regions was strengthened.
Like other historical figures who dedicated themselves to national unity, the Han Princess made contributions to the development of economic and cultural exchanges between nationalities, the close relationship between nationalities, and the promotion of national integration. People in memory of them, or their deeds recorded in history, or compiled into a story spread, let them live in people's hearts forever!
