Bailuyuan folk culture village is built according to the terrain of Bailuyuan. It retains the most primitive form of natural forest park, with green trees and flowing streams. It perfectly presents the original Guanzhong culture in the form of antique buildings, food specialties and traditional skills performances. It is a comprehensive tourism resort integrating ecological tourism development, leisure vacation and folk experience.

Bailuyuan Folk Culture Village

Bailuyuan folk culture village is located in Binhe West Road, Lantian County, Xi'an City, covering an area of 1200 mu with an investment of 350 million yuan. The folk culture village is built according to the terrain of Bailuyuan, with Qinling Mountains in the South and Bahe River in the East. It is a three-level key construction project of Shaanxi Province, Xi'an city and Lantian County. Xilan expressway, 312 National Road, Guanzhong Ring Road and Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway run through the whole territory with convenient transportation.

On August 9, 2019, the people's Government of Lantian County in Shaanxi Province announced that Bailuyuan Folk Culture Village scenic spot would be temporarily closed and upgraded.

On March 7, 2020, the scenic spot announced that the project would be demolished from March 12.

The first phase of the project "Bailuyuan folk culture experience area" is about to be completed and is expected to officially open on January 1, 2016.

Location traffic

Bailuyuan folk culture village is close to Shanghai Shaanxi Expressway (Xilan Expressway), Xi'an Ring Expressway and Guanzhong ring road. Provincial highway 108 and Bahe Yanhe highway (Huanshan road and Shuian Road) pass by the gate. The double expressways G40 and G70 are only 5 minutes away from Bailuyuan toll station. A 12 meter wide scenic area road will be built within the project area. It's about 30 minutes' drive from Xi'an and 5 minutes' drive from Lantian.

Museum of spoon

Shao Shao Ke is a special name for cooks in Guanzhong Dialect, especially for Lantian cooks. The chef also refers to the person in charge of the spoon, so it is commonly known as Shao Ke.

Lantian Folk Museum
